Hi guys Im back!!!!

Episode 1 was fucking beautiful, the perfect Char vs. Amuro tribute any gundam fan could have outside of maybe a BC OVA adaptation

From the looks of things though, these are all shorts with no continuing narrative, which is kinda sad/disappointing

I'm a little bit annoyed at the "Of course, Char is superior" bit but I was pretty happy to see Ribbons make him work for it. Char's moments of "What the hell is this bullshit" were excellent.

sadly no Trans-Am joke for Char reacting to anything moves three times faster as him,
so essentially in this the Ballistic Zaku is a watered down Sazabi & the Reversible Gundam is the Nu Gundam (well the Reborns is a Nu homage courtesy of Tohru Furuya).

I am wondering about how legal quasi-personalities are supposed to be. If this was before TRY, then they likely didn't become that popular at least in the tournament scene. But damn, all of the possibilities....

Also, we finally got our Amuro and Char rematch after like 30+ years or so

The Ballistic Zaku is just a HG ORIGIN Zaku II with new weapons (and probably tuned to some crazy degree beneath the surface by the Meijin)

Everything I loved about Build Fighters packed in 11 minutes.

Outside Ribbons quasi-personality not bringing his A-Game and the "Of course, Char is superior" bit which REALLY annoyed me everything else was just pure bliss.

Yeah this would of been an amazing long running series but sadly it seems like sunrise is trying to "test the water" with both axis and battleogue.

Would be kinda interesting to see a tournament style anime featuring the entire universe of gundam characters, wonder if anyone could beat the the extremely broken kira and freedom.

At the very least, Battlelogue is fully animated and has a semblance of a story even if it's short. Twilight Axis is just a flash-animation-level mess at the moment.

Illegal I would assume. Maybe they have a separate division for it and it be good for show matches and practice matches.

Finally!!! Gunda Build Fighters is back! This was amazing! Now, I don't know all the characters of the past Gundam series, as I've only watched Seed, Seed Destiny and some of the newer ones, but I can imagine how nostalgic this must be for most of your loyal Gundam followers.

Question: Why are these episodes so short? I definitely want to see more epic dream battles and a standard season of 24x22 minute episodes would be pretty badass, wouldn't you all think?
