Spoiler for Vol 6 Chapter 1:

We skip to the following morning and leanr that the battle between Detta and the Saint ended up in a draw, so each faction still has their key item. However, there's still a third item required, a map held by a family of Egyptian priests that moved to Toy Dream 35 with their pharaoh's remains, so Kyousuke and Detta go offer their services to protect them, discovering Higan and Renge are already there on the same bodyguard job.

We meet Sekurtiti, the leader of the family and someone who can use "ruler techniques" to affect people, though obviously those don't have much effect on Kyousuke and Detta, who have dealt with the White Queen. Just as they convince Sekurtiti to accept their help Bridesmaid attack. After defeating the first wave of summoners Kyousuke comes up with a trap for the next one. However, for that Kyousuke needs to make a contract with Sekurtiti, and she accepts despite the risk to her mission as a priestess.

So much bullying from Kyousuke, especially towards the Meinokawa sisters. Plus Detta and Sekurtiti are both pretty fun, this volume started off great.

Well, that went horribly wrong. Azalea has really gone off the deep end even more. The Bridesmaid have the advantage now with their hostages. I'm eager to see what plan Kyousuke and Detta will come up with.

Spoiler for V6 C2 P7-10:

Kyousuke and his group prepare their counterattack during the exchange, but as Kyousuke and Sekurtiti are suddenly attacked checking out the most likely place for the exchange in advance. It's a child assassin, who's just the companion of Claude Magentarain, who survived the Secret War (though at the cost of an eye and an arm). Claude manages to steal the key from Kyousuke, and the crowd around them prevents Kyousuke from fighting. However, Claude doesn't seem to be working with Bridesmaid, at least not fully, since he warns Kyousuke and says he also has a bone to pick with the White Queen. Also, Azalea doens't seem aware of Kyousuke having already lost the key when she calls him to set the meeting. She continues to try and torture Kyousuke, now by showing him how they are examining Renge's artificial body and how they will use her and Higan to create a perfect vessel for the Queen. They are really pissing Kyousuke off, this is going to backfire on them.

Spoiler for V6C2 11-14:

Kyousuke outdoes Azalea and Bridesmaid by planting Blood-Signs and incense grenades around the zoo's possible meeting spots in advance. He rescues the twins and uses incense he bought from Lu to knock out the Offering Squad, forcing Azalea to fight him one in one. That's what happens when you underestimate him, Azalea let her apparent superiority over him go to her head.

Azalea has adapted her technique to Kyousuke's plan of switching around the size of the artificial sacred ground, but he uses the environment to keep interfering with it. Since she mentions Claude Kyousuke decides to tell her about his first meeting with Claude, confronting her with the obvious: she's not going to make someone who opposed the Queen proud by following and worshipping the White Queen. Since this is kind of the truth she didn't want to acknowledge, her whole motivation for being in Bridesmaid is gone, so she gives up and loses the battle.

Unfortunately for Kyousuke, it's time for the White Queen.

So, after much time has passed, I have finished Volume 4 as of last night. I have to be honest. Volume 4 has become one of my absolute favorite Kamachi volumes. Beyond the casual and quite surprising drops of certain reveals, such as the reasoning behind the existence of the Regulation Class and the nature of the Unexplored Class, the story for the volume was one of the most solid ones out of the first four and I really loved seeing the character development on Kyousuke from seeing him questioning whether he deserved to cry out for help to the despair to him standing back up again after remembering all of the previous Alices. This was a wonderful volume. Wonderful volume. Nyahaha~

Spoiler for V6C3 P1-4:

Good god, the White Queen is even crazier than usual. She takes the chest from Kyousuke and runs away, as she knows Kyousuke will try to get it back from her. She also knocked out all Bridesmaid forces in the area just by snapping her fingers, but that's not a surprise at this point, just help sink in how much she is playing around when she "fights" Kyousuke.

Interesting, so not only does the Saint switch between nun and witch; every day she flips a coin to decide who's in charge, her or her vessel. And her vessel is a pretty smart kid, whose will is strong enough to not care at all about the Queen. He just wants to be close to the Saint. The good guys gather for a meal as they ponder what to do next. Meanwhile, Claude and his little assassin are attacked by the Saint. With Claude's pirate outfit, I can't help but compare the scene where 3A confesses to throwing out his alcohol to the rum scene from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Spoiler for V6C3 P5-7:

Turns out 3A is part of an Illegal's project that wants to mass-produce Lu Niang-lan class assassins for their fight with Government. Speaking of Lu, I wonder if we'll ever get to see another member of her family. Anyway, Kyousuke pulls out a really dirty move to force Claude into a fight, and he has Biondetta with him to make it 2v1.

I had to go make sure that Elvast was not the cake man at the end of Vol 5. Their names are so similar, I thought there might have been a mix up.

Spoiler for V6S3 P8-10:

Claude does pretty well against both Kyousuke and Biondetta, but in the end 3A is a liability since unlike the summoners or vessels, she's not shielded by a Material'sbody or the protective circle. Kyousuke takes advantage of that to knock her out, which screws up Claude's handling of his Blood Sign. However, when Kyousuke and Biondetta look on the info he was carrying and discover he doesn't have the Chest, they finally realize he was working against the White Queen and the people trying to give her a permanent body.

They are suddenly interrupted by Elvast Toydream and the White Queen. Why is Elvast important? He's the former leader of Government, and more importantly, the former summoner that had Lu as a slave. Apparently he survived. I now understand the Lu illustration

Spoiler for V6C4 P1-4:

I hate cliffhangers. Elvast is clearly the person who has pushed Kyousuke the most in a fight so far, it's the first one we've seen him and the opponent reach the Unexplored-class. He's also seems to be kind of a monster physically.

I find funny that Zeus and Odin, the respective head gods of their mythologies, are weak in the Blood Sign method due to having short names, and how Kyousuke immediately discards the idea of summoning them to go to Quetzalcoatl.

If I had not been spoiled, the revelation with Doctor S and the girl would have been a real gut punch like the end of Boo Boo 2, I blame myself.

Just love how the Meinokawa sisters thinks they have finally escaped hell, then Kyousuke be like that's not good, guess I better pay them a visit myself. No escape from the bully train.

Spoiler for V6Ending:

Kind of obvious Kyousuke would lose if the White Queen was summoned, but I didn't expect Lu to actually kill Elvast after losing. It's also interesting to know that vessels can always become normal people again since any Awards they might have are erased when contract is undone.

Aika turns out to be a Toydream and the girl from the unreleased fairy tail story mentioned multiple times in the volume. Should have seen that coming. Anyway, thanks to her and Toydream's collection Kyousuke finally has a plan to defeat the White Queen, but the laws of the world also had a plan and we all know how that went.

Kamachi is really enjoying teasing future volumes after the afterword lately. Olivia Highland had been mentioned in several volumes, so it doesn't surprise me she's coming back as part of Bridesmaid with Doctor S.

Out of curiosity I looked up the longest god name, which was Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, the Venus god of Aztec (Etzali's spell), 21 letters so it would have a cost of 21. The queen also has a cost of 21. This is probably more than jsut a coincidence, and just shows how the top of each class has a cost of 21.

I like that we got so many Divine-class Materials in one volume, even though I like the creativity and weird designs of the Regulation-class too. The fact that a freaking Remora would apparently kick Odin's ass in a Material battle is also hilarious.
