I'm just amused to see how the episode compared to the very rough translation of the preview about 11 pages back. Close-ish. And based on the preview of episode 8 at the end of episode 7...

A pleisiosaur really DOES jump out of the hot spring at the end of the episode. Nice to know I wasn't hallucinating while translating. Ah, the fun of translating Japanese, where random crap like that can show up and just totally kill your confidence. Looks like we'll get the Nerval/Leopard/Shishidou Battle to save humanity backstory+generic hot spring fanservice episode all rolled into one next week.

I like this series and hope to continue to like it, but man amusing that ep 7 was, it was just irrationally absurd all over the place. I really can't stand the whole student council being a global secrete organizational force thing, they need to get rid of this concept. Anyways, 8 looks to be pretty funny... I hope it is.

Those AI's... they're just wow. I think they're the highlight to the show for me, they always make me smirk. THE MAI WORLD IS ALL OVER THE PLACE! Child, slave, giant double sided spear sword thing... what else is there?

the School ITSELF is a shady organisation, sponsored by the Shishido Foundation. The School council is likely just the School's own private army. Couple with the fact that all the older sisters were former members of Level Free, and it makes perfect sense. It is perfectly rational.

Ok, lets start with this. Those 2 massive mechanical beings move and operate as insane speed, just like a single being. That killer machine was quick to attack Leopard but then all the sudden stops when our heroines (or should I say become very passive) arrived on the scene AND ALLOWED TIME FOR THEM TO COUNTER HIM. Hm..... really rational. It's like, I'm kicking or going to kick your a$$ but I'll give you time to prevent me from doing it or even allow you to kick my a$$.

And so what if a school is sponsored by huge cooperates and have their kids go there? It goes on in the real world, but to what extent or influence do they have with national/global defense? Money may make the world go round, but money is only given value due to government backing. Government > cooperates any day and everyday.

There are lots of things I don't like, but they're not stopping me from watching and enjoying the series, same goes for a lot of us. I'm just saying some of the things aren't to my taste, but I'm sure it is to others.

I don't know how you guys get episode 7, but to me the epicness has already gone through the roof for me. The number of homages there was godly insane.

Sakura is now my favourite loli ever and will stay there for a very long time, she literally made my jaw drop from awesomeness. Waku waku boom boom da~!

Though not really a ship captain, but there she is, after 10 years! A new loli captain after Ruri-ruri!

And holy crap, she's able to simplify and summarise OVERFREEZE in an amazing method of loli speech. Then when she solves it, AMAZING!!! Her QT allows her to send the solution to the Shishidou sisters, allowing them to do a combined coordinated operation with guarenteed success.

She defeated OVERFREEZE with Solar Ray, that alone is already epic.

There's totally nothing wrong with the colonies. 20 years ago, an anime called Top wo Nerae! invented an incredible piece of technology, its called 'inertia canceller', it literally removes inertia from an object of any size.

Considering the overtechnology the Brain Colonies have, having inertia cancellers is an obvious component to have.

Colonies biting and slicing each other, that is the most amazing colony display in film history.

Nerval didn't stop fighting after hanging on to Leopard. His biting is useless as Leopard mentioned. But by freezing, his colony battle had been won by freezing Leopard entirely, He held on to Leopard to continue freezing him until he completely dies. But thee fight doesn't end just here, there's still the girls. To fight the girls and the QT-ARMS, its up to Aleida.

They thought Takane was already knocked out cold by all the shocking Nerval gave her. But no, Takane was never hurt by it from the start, she just acted weak. Takane's surprise counterattack foils Nerval and Aleida's plans, allowing the girls to escape and importantly Akiha to return to Leopard.

Then the rest is up to Sakura's plan and Kazane with Kagura's navibito to get Leopard ready for Leopard cannon.

This show is amazing.

EDIT: You do not rationalise the show, because its 10000 years into the future, their rationale is totally different from now. That's if you still want to rationalise their rationality. You should watch this just accepting what you see. 100 years ago people can only dream of flying, they rode on horse carriages. What can science do in 10000 years?

I see pink as a conventional hair colour in anime, its so common, its like a normal hair colour.

Could this hint that the colonies are actually seeking love? Especially Leopard and Akiha's case.
