Kanbara is clearly better. Well, I do agree that Kanbaru + Araragi pair brings out lots of laughs, but i really can't see them as a couple.

Hanekawa really made me craving for her arc in this episode.

If you are talking about the library scene then I don`t think it`s exactly true. They where only shadows that didn`t have a character design. If they don`t have a face then it doesn`t count.

The point is that there hasn't even been so much as a silhouette of a non-key character in previous episodes. The cars didn't even have people driving them in ep 6 (you could see through one of them, so it wasn't just because the windows were tinted).

This episode broke that streak twice; once with the library scene and a second time when Nadeko was remembering being with the other 3 girls in the same room and Araragi popped in. The girls also had everything but eyes drawn, which were shadowed out.

I don't see why that wouldn't count.

Episode 1 : She slipped on a banana peel, falls down the stair well into his arms.

Definitely like Senjougahara/Araragi interactions more then Kanbaru/Araragi. Big points to Araragi for trying to get into the same university as Senjoughara as a surprise though.

Nice to see Araragi taking some intuitive. So far Senjougahara has been on the offensive, I think the last major romantic thing he said or did to her was Senjougahara-Tore, so nice to see that he's being pro-active in the relationship.

There is really something up with Hanakawa its driving me nuts. When she mentioned she was getting headaches frequently it seemed like foreshadowing.

WOW so Kanbaru's arm wont return to normal till shes 20. It just goes to show how damaging something like this can be. I guess maybe because of the amount of times or the length of time she depended on the rainy devil contributed to how long it will take for her arm to recover.

Im assuming that Senjougahara is ok with Araragi spending time with Kanbaru because she trust him and her and she knows that Araragi knows that he screws up he will face a fate where he wishes he would have died. Still watching them together is funny its a like a comedy duo act. I still wonder what Kanbaru gets out of being all touchy freely with Araragi. Plus the stalking various other sexual comments. I do wish Hitagi would join Araragi more on his crazy adventures.

This one is interesting snakes scales covering a large portion of her body i can see why she was mutilating snakes at the temple.

Actually, I wondered at first too, "Why was she stalking him?" but then I remembered that she probably did that when she was still jealous over Senjougahara. Investigating her enemy, you know? She mentioned that she'd seen the two of them together and all...

After watching the ep subbed, they way Araragi described the scales as being seemingly imprinted in her skin... the impression I got was that it was like there was a massive, invisible, spirit/ghost snake wrapped tightly around Nadeko's body, like a boa constrictor. I guess we shall soon see.

Anyone know any snake-related myths offhand that could possibly pop up?

I'd say Kanbaru adds some much needed humor into the series. Also, the episode felt a whole lot more lively than usual. I'm not really sure why, but that's how I felt. I even got to understand Hanekawa more.

It's sad that I don't get too see much Senjougahara in this episode, but the episode was relatively eventful, so I'm still happy about it.

The last few minutes should appeal to lolicons everywhere as well...

Shit the last few minutes nearly converted me to a lolicon. Probably the element of surprise.

Seems that Koyomi is still weak to hanekawa charms. Makes me think why he didnt go for her in the first place. He better not get caught else he is going to get either hitomi's bankai (Rain of a thousand staples) or her special (unlimited stationery works).

My guess is that the poor loli is being constantly compressed by a snake god for not fulfilling something after the snake god granted her wish...
