I just sat through epis 3-5 because I hadn't had the chance to watch 3 and 4 up until now. But for the latest episode...

You know what would be funny? If it turned out that Saya had been drugging the coffee and this entire anime had been a massive acid trip hallucinated by Mato

Also, it always seems like BRS takes ALOT more damage than her opponent, then gets in one attack and wins. Makes her feel kind of cheap to me. Meh

I think we just might have an explanation for the seeming artificiality and WTFness of the melodrama in the early episodes. Otherselves trigger massive and almost improbable psychological instability- basically, OOCness into their counterparts in the real-world. Which implies that Mato is quite extra-ordinary to have gotten away with only slight eccentricities instead of a Psychological Chernobyl.

Anyway, the only thing I can even say at this point is that no matter what happens, I'm gonna be shippin' Mato x Yomi all the damn rest of the way. Who knows what else these crazy fuckers are gonna throw at us, but that's the one thing I ask the ending not to throw away. For anything else they've got planned for the final stretch of this eight-episode run, my body is ready.

I'm with you. I don't care what kind of crazy stuff happens as long as Mato and Yomi end up together. Sane, preferably.

Yomi's breakdown was as other the top as always, but I think I'm getting used to that kind of thing since this episode didn't make me laugh as much as the others. It's still hard to relate to such completely insane characters though. Seriously, that cast is full of nutcases. I'm looking forward to what Crazy Mato will do next week (assuming she regains consciousness in the real world), it should be entertaining.

The battle sequences were as impressive as ever, they're more than enough to make this series worth a watch.

Best episode so far. the beginning was dull and WTF-ish as usual, but the end was mind-blowingly awesome. It should have happened in the third episode, not the fifth, though.

Finally, great writings that worths the writer's money....
At one point, I found that it presented a theme very similar with Zeta Gundam (or virtually
other Gundam titles directed by Tomino, or something that equally similar....)
Besides that:
(1) Chounibyou isn't cold and you don't really need to cure it;
(2) While Chounibyou is not something universally good, being cool and being a crappy adult
is neither good at all. One can be both mature and be a great person that cares everything
around him....

Insane Black Rock Shooter ?
I saw some fan arts with IB★RS one week ago and thought it would really cool to see it animated. Such a shame if not. I'll cross my fingers XD

I feel like watching this episode again, I'll wait for midnight, better atmosphere

I was going to say how I lost hope with this show and say how its spiraling down just like GC...

...until I saw the preview.

now, my hopes for the entire show is renewed!
I have actually gotten a new theory(ironically, its not really new but an old WMG before the anime aired, and was at the time of the OVA)

notice how the two look similar to BGS?
the one from the OVA is an old theory by fans that she's BGS. we never really knew who she was but this was the closest they found.

Actually, that's young Saya.

Yuu appears with the same age because she isn't human to begin with, and so she doesn't age.

Yomi is still acting weird..
Mato & Yuu noticed it too.
She totally lost it.
Since the whole Kagari thing Yomi just snapped.
The parallel world fights were much more interesting.
Interesting ending though...wonder what's gonna happen next time.

The TV series have been going down hill since the OVA. But ep 5 just spark up all of the interesting plots once again... The series rose from 7/10 to 9/10 for me thank to this episode



Could it be the world in OVA and the world in this TV series are the same after all? The timeline could be like this:

• Mato(OVA)get close to Yomi (OVA). BRS defeat DM. OVA end
• Yuu(OVA) get jealous, did something regrettably, trading off her real world existence so she can be with Mato (OVA)forever.
• Mato(OVA) and Yomi(OVA) died somehow, was reborn as Mato(TV) and Yomi (TV). Yuu becomes Mato(TV) 'imagine' childhood friend. Kagari becomes Yomi(TV)'s childhood friend
• Saya who used to be the same age with Mato(OVA) and Yomi(OVA) grew up and become the school counselor
• But then fate brought Yomi (TV) and Mato (TV) to meet again. TV series ep 1 starts

- The Insane BRS will be sold insanely (QED)
- The Burst Mode coming provided that IBRS showed up that early. That will probably help the sale
of the poorly-sold figure....

I don't think so, the TV series is better. However, it seems quite obvious that the DM and BGS
business (like, ugh, figure sales) is quite done, so I have doubts with the continuity. But
if the scene can overcome it, it will be interested to see a Star system for a few years. E.g.
you will see the most popular characters in the next season as enemies, while the less popular ones
get obsoleted soon....

I think the OVA/TV are parallel, just like different Spiderman series.

I think you might have put the finger on something.
I'm not really a "timeloop" fan, but If someone forget about his/her problem and the people involved when his other self is defeated, OAV could be the sequel to the TV serie... Or something like that...
