Nevertheless, the manga does appear to be gaining a semblance of a deeper plot. According to 00-Raiser, who works on the english translation team for ViVid, certain characters, Hayate in particular, are having suspicions about the gathering of so many old Belkan heirs. So ViVid's churning down some story-related path, but god knows what it is.

A part of me wants a full blown Holy Grail (Succession) War to break out amongst the Belkani heirs for a looong time now. But, alas, 7Arcs is no Nasu or Urobutcher.

That's exactly what I was thinking back when the manga first started. They had a really good hook but didn't take it to most logical conclusion.

agreed the tournament arc is where they messed up in how the fights ended up, I mean besides everyone losing they should have been allowed to win one more each and show how bad they were then get beaten.

Well, Miura is still in the competition nd i'm also eager to see how will be the re-match between Lutecia and Fabia in the tournament.

It's a good thing to have some other type of Nanoha season for once. Although I haven't read Infinite library arc (no translation after 48 chapter yet). Maybe it's even better. But it would be a bit hard to cram even Tournament arc in 2-cour series. So unlike they plan more seasons I bet we'll have 1 arc adaptation.
I can't really compare it with Saki or GuP because Vivid does have a larger plot underneath the cute girls doing cute stuff and tournament battles (descendants of the great kings of an era of war being gathered rings a billion alarm bells with Hayate). It just constantly puts said plot aside for more of the other two.

I am actually interested to see the Nanoha characters getting the A-1 treatment.

Wait, a Nanoha series not produced by Seven Arcs? What's going on here?

To be fair, the director worked on the A's TV series, so it's not like we're getting a bunch of Nanoha rookies.

What the hell? Nanoha always was 7arcs personal franchise. It's really strange that another studio is making it and that Masaki Tsuzuki himself not handling the scripts. Now I'm concerned

I think Kadokawa is behind this. They own the original manga and just hire A-1 to do the animation production.

But A-1 ---> Aniplex ---> Sonymusic.
Let's see if they dare change singer for OP&ED, someone from Sonymusic just got her role in Nanohaverse recently.

Is this for real? A-1 Pictures? Isn't Nanoha supposed to be exclusive to Seven Arcs?

A-1 isn't exactly known for its quality...

I hope that if Force gets animated, it goes back to Seven Arcs...

A Nanoha series without Nana in the OP or ED is BLASPHEMY!

If this does not get a Nana OP and a Yukarin ED, there will be a lot of rage from the fans.

I really hope the art style stays true to the art style used by Seven Arcs for Nanoha, though...

Source. Because I don't recall Nana Mizuki fans going apeshit over such a thing in my twitter and some I follow are big into her.

@ A-1: When they are in a good day, you get Idolm@ster. When they are not, you get the first season of Magi.

A Nanoha series being animated by A-1 Pictures is the most stupid thing I've ever heard!

So what will Seven Arcs do? Just Dog Days and that's it?
