LOL, Harumi-chan still thinks Naruhodo and Maya is a couple. (well, maybe, LOL)
But Harumi-chan is just Kawaii, glad They didn't taint too much of her innocence (tho there's still the matter of her mom's trial at a later date... wonder if she knows that) As for the confetti at the end, I find it quite interesting and fun. We should totally do that in the Real world Court houses when someone is deemed Not Guilty. Also, I have no idea how Harumi-chan put together that Pot in almost perfect placements but got the center word upside down... |

Well the latest arc seemed fun enough. I couldn't take that Max guy seriously despite him being the major draw of that circus. In the meantime, I'm really curious to know what their ringmaster was doing when he stepped out and never returned.
Some of the characters at that circus might be involved too.

I got to Rage -
Phoenix wearing this Pullover makes absolutely not damn sense. Why the hell would he still want to wear that thing >< - Reasons why he wouldn't want to are classified informaton for the time being. Phoenix not trusting Max was also motre logical when the Magatama was in place.

The magatama really did nothing other than be a minigame. You can criticise a lot of things, but psyche locks add nothing narratively.
As for why he would want to wear that? Well I can think of one obvious reason. |

The anime isn't done. It's possible they're just rearranging events and getting to it later, so by asking "why didn't X happen" you may potentially be spoiling something. Keep that in mind.
Anyway, I have to admit seeing that extra shot where Max's cards hit the protective glass and fall down gave me a bit of a chuckle. It really makes Max's character more pathetically endearing. |

Also: I imagine defense attorneys don't get paid well in Japan with the 99% successful prosecution rate and all.
As for the Psyche Locks, there's at least one more story arc from the second game to get through this season, meaning this and the final arc are both likely three episodes. To that end, I imagine the Magatama was removed in order to save time. To introduce it and explain how it works would have probably been a bit too much to fit in, and thus they made a choice to cut it. Remember also that this is a series done as an anime first, and therefore must be entertaining for those not familiar with the games. While I cannot say it's really going to convince folks it's the bestest thing, it's enough that I can recommend it to folks as a way to catch up on the first two games without having to play them.
