Looks like someone picked up another wrong subtitle:

What a chapter, Hinoko Bo-chan scored a full diamond stolen base with a stolen home in this, his arc was amazing, show how creative a hacker can be.

Saito as always the fool and was funny he again being in troubles

Lin-chan is hardcore, our trap is another MVP here.

Well we have next arc next week

A nice arc for mushroom head. Disowned hacker sons of rich people is a trope, but I rarely see ones that end with such closure.

Looks like the first four volumes are adapted, at the cost of cutting out stuff or moving around plot details that are suppose to be made known later.

I've been following this show and feel like episode 9 is my favorite so far from this anime.

It really gave an insight on how assassins are made with the realistic style of the training. Mao and Fei has a relationship that I find likeable as the two became close yet it was a facade in the end. A tough life like this is really something to realize for assassins.

Also served as a buildup episode too for the final few episodes.

Lesson to learn: Always trust in yourself.

Maomei Lin...that Trap boy have such hard life, what a flashback chapter and one was well done and not curbstone.

Pretty nice waiting next one.

Wow, that was a change of pace.

If Lin doesn't start paying attention, he's going to take a line drive in the face!

With the short episode count, I think it was the best way to go around it by giving the characters some more backstory like Lin.

I could have done without seeing Lin's depressing backstory. We already know what happened to his sister. Enough.

And really, how many resources go into raising assassins who have zero reasons to be loyal? It's not like they're even superhuman or anything.

This whole notion of countries/entrepreneurs/whoever turning kids into assassins has become a bit overdone of late. Just this season both Violet Evergarden and Toji no Miko share this plot. Outside of disgusting groups like the Lord's Resistance Army, are there really as many secret organizations creating child terrorists as shows like this suggest? I rather doubt it myself. I know having teens in secret organizations goes back as least as far as Evangelion, but shows like Hakata Tonkatsu Ramens make an effort to have some contact with reality, as twisted as it may be here.

Agree with Guardian. That sort of thing happens.

Also, I think they used Dirty Truth from the OP/ED OST, which makes good foreshadowing if it is the case.

That. And it seems so... economically unlikely. You've got the secret compound in question to maintain, adult staff, some of whom are trained professional. All that, for years, and what do you get in the end? A small number of killers who, if Lin is any indication, aren't that good at assassination and will escape at the first opportunity.

I'll have to check the LN (if and when volume 3 is translated) on why Fei's still alive...

But the last few episodes should be taken from V3.

I finally got to see the last couple of episodes, and we get an interesting and quite sade story for Lin. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if his sister is actually alive at this point.

Also, wasn't Lin's first name Xianxing? I'm wondering did he changed it after getting out of that prison school facility and bleach his hair and everything to hide his identity?

The story was by the numbers and just does hit you what with Lin being the emotional core of the story. I did expect Fei-lan's betrayal, but now I'm honestly wondering if there was more to it than that?
I mean, Lin's plan of simply destroying the chains and trying to escape was very short-sighted, desperate, and foolhardy. There was no way either would have lived if they had run. Fei looked as much in shock when they were tossed in that cage as Lin was. We also see that he was just as trained to deliver a killing blow as Lin was. Why would he waste time on a non-lethal wound to the back rather than aiming just a little higher or lower and striking a mortal wound taking advantage of his element of surprise?

He also talked quite a bit rather than actually trying to kill Lin. I honestly am beginning to think Fei-lan was lying and trying to make Lin kill him so that at least one of them would make it. I, of course, might be completely wrong, but I can see them pulling this element as well.

When the Ex and the current trap talk about Banba...

Lin is younger that I and poor trap, the childhood traumas are pretty big and he was intercepted by Hinoko when was running away and now they found Fei lan...the final battle is coming.

No, please don't kill Submarine Ninja.
