His mother represents the ugly reality behind his online personality. He is 22 years old with no job and literally mooches off his mother while trying to get a job at the game company behind BTOOM. He probably realizes this already and it just simply eats at him whenever he is confronted about his lifestyle from his mother.

I liked everything except the part where the main character does not die. I know that the other guy is missing a lot but we are taking about bombs. he should, at least, have some serious injury to make it more real. This or the guys would start with some body armor of some kind

Its like no one can remain sane in this show. The fat guy was pretty cool, but transformed into some insane lunatic. But that's the reality of the situation, you get to see people's ugly side after going through all of this.

Seems the japanese have bad stereotypes for big dudes too. I have plenty of fat friends who not only bathe regularly, but have pretty decent social lives. Guess that doesn't exist in anime

Looks like she got stuck on that island as well.
At least she found a friendlier bunch... or not.
Flashback to her normal school days were interesting.
It's gonna be fun watching how she'll react to Sakamoto.

No, I mean when WE are introduced to him. Seemed like a normal guy, then bam, we learn all this messed up stuff about him. Wouldn't be surprised if this will be the formula for the series, a person who seems nice and cool really batsh%t crazy.

I'm not exactly sure if they really don't know. Considering how the thug was acting (he was really surprised that the protagonist didn't know how to use the bombs), it seems they had some sort of briefing, so it is possible that they have a rough idea about that.

Geez, how did those three stooges last even five seconds cooperating with each other when it took so little for them to completely fall apart? I guess there were massive tensions to begin with but it all seemed like that army guy was cold blooded to begin with.

^Well you would understand the pressure people would feel when they are stranded on an unknown island and try to leave it, survival may sometimes lead a person some much pressure they become insane which is basically what happens.
