Good episode overall. Though clearly all the hype is for next week

Lubbock got to show off which was fun. Had a couple close calls there, but came out on top in the end. Once again he has to take down the cute girl to win. But in the end it's a matter of survival. Probably one of the more fun members of Night Raid to see in combat since he does have to get creative to win.

While on the other side of the fence we did get a nice moment there with Wave and Kurome. Can't exactly doubt her claims of what will happen if she isn't able to continue fighting. Though I guess this is a chance for Wave to step up for the sake of someone who actually seems to respond to his efforts. Though the whole thing is pretty tricky since this is right after the episode where Chelsea got taken out like that.

On the other hand they end the episode off with Mine and Tatsumi bickering

so Chelsea got dissected like that in order to find cure for Kurome, eh?

Lubbock is too awesome in this episode

and it's funny to see that Tatsumi and Mine are destined to be couple

next episode should be the best... Seryu must die already... she become too annoying
Tatsumi-Mine Vs Seryu would be perfect.. can't wait to see the next episode

Good episode to build whatever shit will happen next time. Nice to see Lubbock doing such a awesome battle for once. He was actually pretty awesome there.

I don't know if it's because it's a weekly anime adaptation of a monthly manga, but someone lost their head last week and we'll already get Kill the Fate in the next one, which is too fast. At this pace, I feel like they'll burn through the manga by the end of the cour.

Eh, I was kinda surprised too. Well, that scene was pretty pointless in its own way in the manga so I can get why it was cut. That said, I'd like to forget everything about the manga is possible, though.
The removal of the formal costumes is the only thing that I really didn't like with the changes. I really wanted to see Justice wearing a dress in the anime, not because I like her, it's for educational purpose.

Killing her just because she needs a few days or weeks to recover seem rather wasteful, though.

Also, don't those guys already know about Murasame? It's a sword, it kills whoever it cuts. What else is there to see?

wait, "once again" ? Did I miss an episode ? Prior to today's episode, the only other named enemy I remember he killed was that researcher's minion.

Well didn't say a named cute girl. Just was reminded that he had to take down one in the first few episodes. Grunt level and all that.

They removed the dress scene. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would have liked to see Esdeath in her dress.

Yup, it seems I did miss one of the earlier episode.

I would be thankful to whoever tell me which episode that was.

The "Post Chelsea Autopsy" scene was cut pretty badly. I wanted to see Esdeath feed Chelsea's arm to Koro. They also cut Esdeath's post battle analysis.

This actually rather bothers me, as I feel a disconnect between Esdeath in the Anime and Esdeath in the manga. She had a lot of potential to be come one of the great anime antagonists/villains, but she feels watered down in the anime.
