Plot Summary:

TV series adaptation for 'Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! ' announced based on the light novel.
The English title is 'Gifting this Wonderful World with Blessings'.

Just watched ep 1...

Color me extremely surprised. This series was nowhere on my to watch list, but i thought the first ep rather...enjoyable in a light hearted way.

I think this has been the biggest surprise for me this season, actually (though Ajin is still to air).

So, I watched the first episode on a whim and...

Wow. That was surprisingly okay. Nothing earth shattering and definitely not some masterpiece. But I found it fairly entertaining (when I was expecting to be either bored or annoyed by it).

I haven't watched this anime yet, but they did a rather decent job of not making Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju's animation really look terrible, but I felt like it's a bit overlooked for some reason so far (can't speak for Reikenzan, it's just Deen turning the QUALITY level up to eleven).

Honestly, I didn't find the comedy much appealing. I think it's fine but not something I'll enjoy each week for laughing. The quality isn't good as it looks like DEEN's budget went to Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu instead this season. Maybe the show will get better when the other girls are introduced.

OP song seems okay.

Hmm... something is not right... oh... yea...

it's the fact that THE FIRST ISEKAI SERIES since the beginning of the "isekai boom" to be animated happens to be a parody of the concept!

There are so many other series that should get animated first, but then they start off with this parody instead! Something is definitly wrong about that... well perhaps the fact that many of the references Kazuma made ("cheat skill", going to the adventurer's guild first, etc.) will not be picked up by most of the anime-only-audience.

Still... even with DEEN's failure rate (with all the budget of the whole series seemingly going into the crystal ball scene in this first EP), they actually at least managed NOT to ruin the great source material! So congrats for DEEN not to mess up from the very beginning. It may have to do with the fact that they fear to be labeled similarily to a "useless godess".

I found this side-split-tingly hilarious. Starting with the opening exchange to the goddess, to the protagonist choice of "cheat item." To the breaking of the goddess pride, to the genius of the training montage. And I want more of this glorious send them up of JRPG cliches. This rivals Dagashi Kashi for comedy of the season.

Well, that was fine start, quite faithful to novels and some nice new jokes.

Well I might have some doubts, if I didn't know how hilarious it will once whole cast get together.

Oh and QUALITY was terrible, alright.
