Wow its been a very long time since I post anything up here.
Nice to see you here again HaRoRuleZ and the rest of the old GS veteran

Just watched the new GS release. It was okay IMO, but then again ... alot of old scene and re-run. Nonetheless, I am glad to see GS hasn't died yet

HaRoRuleZ do you have any idea when will be the released date of Gundam Seed Symphony CD and what kind of scores will be on???

I am very fond of Toshihiko Sahashi's music nowadays

(I don't know if you guys noticed, but the BGM where Klueze and Fraga fought outside of Heliopolis was never released in any of Gundam Seed CD)

Symphony SEED, Victor Entertainment, VICL-61400, 3,150 yen will be released on May 08th.

By London Symphony Orchestra, now you know what kind of scores should be expected.

One of the many things I look forward to, that's for sure.

Anyway as a follow up to my previous post, here are the screenshots of the 5 minute Astray short that's shown at the Tokyo Anime Fair:

Just watched the 5 min OVA. It wasn't anything totally special (after all, it was only 5 minutes long exactly with an additional 16 seconds of credits), but it was rather interesting to see what happened to the main characters of the series that were still alive. It was mainly a reflection of the peace talks and to show what each of main characters are doing now, but there is more focus on the 4 SEED users, Kira and Lacus (who are together) and Athrun and Cagalli (who are also together).

oops, didn't see Haro's other posting of this.

Here's an update on the status of Gundam Seed Special Edition TV courtesy of www.animenewsnetwork.com It would seem that they're gonna do them seasonally, but there will probably be 6 or 8 tv compilation episodes of 48 minutes each released 2 at a time probably each season as HaRoRuleZ mentioned. Anyways, as brightman has pointed out, these may be Bandai's way of bringing closure to the series by doing the compilation as they did with Gundam Turn A, since these in no way are meant to indicate a sequel, and it would be highly unlikely for them to also create compilation movies, since 3 compilation movies of 90 minutes each would be the same running time as 6 compilation tv episodes of 48 minutes and thus the movies would essentially be the tv compilation episodes, which are being released in widescreen which is further proof of their being a tv substitute for movies.

2004-
03-22 1. The Battlefield of Emptiness Part 1
2004-
03-23 2. The Battlefield of Emptiness Part 2

3. Dawn Becomes Distant Part 1

4. Dawn Becomes Distant Part 2

5. Rumbling Universe Part 1

6. Rumbling Universe Part 2

And likewise I am the one who added those to ANN. These are from an unconfirmed rumor, so they might not be 100% true. But I thought they look pretty reasonable which is why I put them up anyway.

The official site now has track list below.

01. Opening
02. Suspense
03. Take off

04. Memory

05. Zafuto

06. Death

07. Gundam

08. The Song
09. A Wish
10. Finale

I wonder why track 5 is "Zafuto" instead of "ZAFT." I notice that in the magazine too.

Gundam SEED Special Edition 「

Dug out this thread to say that SEED Special Edition 2 「遥かなる暁」 in which part 2 was finished airing over 2 hours ago has a brand new ED scene. The ED theme is "Akatsuki no Kuruma" which continues from the last sequence (you know which one) of this edition 2.

Man, this server heavy load really takes away my bedtime .

Here are screen shots of the new ED scenes from Gundam SEED Special Edition II.

Spoiler for Click to see them:

Note that there is no romance scene between Kira and Lacus like Athrun and Cagalli in shot #08 & 09. I like shot #07 which is the first time to see them, main ZAFT pilots, together in one shot.

Enjoy!

O_o Wow! Thanks for those shots, it looks awesome. I am a little surprised that there is no sign of lovey-doveyness between Kira and Lacus though. But Asuran and Cagalli looked like they were pretty serious about each other
