I don't know, I thought this episode was probably important somewhat in terms of character development (-_- Winry's apparently). And it wasn't exactly happy either. Good thing there's a two episode break before the end begins.

I think this episode is mediocre, especially after such a sad episode 35... but then it moved the plot forward a bit I guess..

Spoiler for sins:

Although this episode is so-so for me, I do notice some very crazy stuff in the preview for the next episode

More Winry =D. The screens are enough for me until I can get ahold of a spoon. I don't want to spoil myself too much and I don't want to watch the raw right now =).

Yep. All my anticipation for this anime at the moment is for the next episode (37) when the True Lead of FMA comes back!

Plus the Gaidens should be fun to watch on screen.

about the episode...

What did Winry learn about her parents? And how is Edward a racist? I'm not trying to disagree just wondering what he did. Answers to these questions will be greatly appreciated. ^^

I thought that was a great ep for character - I especially liked the fleshing-out of Hawkeye, who we don't see nearly enough of. Poor Winry's struggling with divided loyalties at the end was really touching for me. I enjoyed the episode a lot.

Anyone else think that the Sins moment foreshadowed some major fight between Lust and lil' Wrath? Ah, the power of a single look!

And Scar trying to make a philosopher's stone using the original Ishvarite methods? That should be intriguing...

I'm predicting a major fight between the Elrics and Lust / Gluttony, then meeting Scar, then...well, all Hell breaking loose!

After watching with some linguistical help, it wasn't that bad. Actually was somewhat informative, and it will change things if the sins are fighting to win at this point. That makes them far more dangerous.

Oh well, I look forward to the next episode!

She could be mixed. Like her mother or maybe grandmother was Ishvalite and the gene for red eyes is dominant. Stranger things have happened in FMA.
