Assassination isn't Regius's style though. Maybe the Brains, but not Regius. He also hates criminals with a burning passion, the entire idea of his was to try to widdle the cyborgs out of the gray area into legal grounds.

Maybe doing jobs for him. Curren did jobs for Vandis before.
Besides, if Regius knew of the Eclipse incidents, knowing about the leader of the Hulks would be a given.

I like the idea of Curren working with Reguiz/The Brains since it also be chronologically correct, IIRC the Huckebein has been around for about 7 years while the gap bwtween StrikerS and Force is of 6 years so it could make sense to take that route since the Huckebein were already operating during the events of StrikerS.

....which made me think RF6 was very ....VERY lucky in that regard xD!

Nah, the prophecy was pretty much talking about Mid, and the Hucks try to stay away from the bureau if possible, not declare war on them.

Yup. If anything, i guess Curren is effectively trying to prevent war to happen because that way the solitary tranquil life they're searching for will be impossible. They're criminals, sure, but if they get right out labeled as war enemies they won't be able to catch a break ever again.

It just sucks that we are discussing this much, but the manga is always coming up so painfully slow.

If Tsuzuki himself is not a slacker and had to close the story with the cliffhanger ending...

We'd have more to talk about if the English translations didn't take every three to four months for a single chapter.

So it being forced, illogical, and sort of pointless is acceptable, as long as it fits into the timeline?

Well, yeah. It also won't be the first time in anime this is applied and sometimes the results are pretty interesting xD.

Being interesting is always much better than being sensible.

Not necessarily. I'd prefer something being both interesting and sensible.

I did say doing jobs.
Gathering informations seems to be one of Curren`s specialty.
Curren has been around for a while and her having contacts and maybe even doing business with TSAB wouldn`t be that weird.

I am not asking something like rewriting the story to include Thoma here...

I just don't see how that'd work. With the brains, maybe, but Regius? The guy was already uncomfortable with Jail, who at the time wasn't even nearly as bad as Curren. Again, Regius wants to uphold the law, not ignore it. The cyborg project was moral gray area as hell, and something Regius wanted to drag outside the gray area into the light. Hiring Curren, a known criminal charged with first degree murder for who-knows-how-many occasions though? No, I just don't see Regius do that.

I don't know if the founders would, either. The only reason they kept Jail around was because they assumed they created him in the first place and they didn't think he'd get around it. Having an indiscriminate mass murderer around in your own civilization? A bit beyond the pale for them.

Or she has not been infected yet? Anyway, I guess we should stop guessing as this sounds more and more like a bad idea. Just hope the aces will not steal the spotlight too much and delve into the unhealthy relationship between Touma and Hayate.

They always will, though, just because they have so much more character.

Rather, they always will because that's the way Force is being marketted. Character is something that is easily changed or grown, as Vivid shows with many of the blank StrikerS characters getting more personality.
