He Is simply a greedy idiot. Him and Burai probably rank the the highest for loyalty to the emperor, however such blind/fanatical loyalty is never a good thing.

Anyway, for Kuon's position in Tuskuru, there are actually quite a few girls being designed as reflections of her so you can consider the weight of her position. That's also what is clear about Tuskuru.

Clearly the emperor don't really care for Dekoponpo's problems as long as he is not endangering the empire, so leaves it to people like Oshutoru to take care of the problems.

You can be corrupt without being outright traitorous, and that's where Dekonpopo is. And it's still pretty bad for the empire, at his level.

(And of course, there is the bit going on now, where, if the other generals don't scramble, he'll waste thousands of lives for nothing...)

As always, I love Suara's voice, though the OP was fairly meh to me. The original was too good, yeah, but still, it was more mysterious or ominous than heroic or action-ny

I just noticed this about the tub of lard's title. His title is "The seven lights". In Japanese that means "benefiting from the influence of one's parent/master". E.g. He only got the job because of his father's seven lights. Even his title shows that he is incompetent.

I don't know about Mito, but I wouldn't call a son riding on his father's coattails as someone "personally chosen".

And he is probably talking about the position of the pillar generals as a whole. He's been there since the beginning of the empire so a pig in a single generation probably doesn't worry him.
