Hi i am new! I have been reading some posts of animesuki forums for a while (couple years?).
Only decided to post because of my dedication to Best Moe tournament is greatest ever. Anyway I am fairly addicted to anime, and is almost reaching the 'otaku' status... (And I wish to) But cant really find the time to catch up old animes like the first gundam and learn about seiyuus from those old days... Anime was on TV everyday since I was a baby, and so the first series I remember I watched was Galaxy Express 999. |

May I introduce myself.
I'm a former lurker who, besides looking for some good things to watch/read, sometimes I check out the threads in the forums for some invaluable information and opinions. Lately my repeated incursions into the Marimite section and the need to contribute my ideas and opinions has prompted me to register. I salute you all. Gokigenyou.

Welcome to AnimeSuki everyone, even though you are an "ex-lurker" welcome! If you have any questions you can PM me and I'll answer them as soon as possible.
For anyone who is interested, I'm currently one of the many translators in Animesuki but I'm not an official translator for Japanese to English. Anyway the current project I'm in is the doujin SPOONFUL based on Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. With that I currently spend most of my time in the Nanoha - Image Thread (wallpapers, fan art, gifs, etc.) and sometimes I go to other anime and manga threads. soulassassin547, nice signature there XD.

Thanks. (offtopic) Playing that online game is like a war where you get knocked down, have to spit out grit, dust yourself off and snipe the mob. Hence the sig (and the martial history of the Ogasawara Clan -- they're best known for kyujutsu).

Hello,
I've kind of been a lurker around here for a bit and i decided to join up so I can talk with some people who like some stuff i like About me... hummm, well I'm 18 years old and i live in the United States. Going to college, not even sure what to study yet, but I kind of want to get into the video game industry. Always wanted to go to Japan, but never really had a chance. Maybe soon I'll make a "chance" for myself to go. |

I've been making extensive use of animesuki.com for obtaining fansubs during the past couple of years, so this forum looks like a great place for discussing them.
I will trace back how I found this site: -> learned of school anime club from awesome friend who I lost contact with long ago :'( -> learned of fansubs from school anime club -> read a.scarywater.net off the screen during a fansub shown at an anime club at my school -> redirected torrent-URL from a.scarywater.net -> extracted animesuki.com from torrent URL and fed it to my browser Some time shortly after I began losing my mind. |
