Best news since the invention of the wheel!
I've missed Gintama soooo much...It's the only anime that whenever I watch an episode I'm completely transported to my early days of watching anime...I get that same excitement like back in year 1 of my anime journey...It's just a mix of all the shonen goodness that anime can and has always been...Can't wait for season 2...

From what I've been reading of the manga from the last year, we will be getting some great stuff both comedy and story-wise right off the bat this time around ^_^
There was one particular story section recently that seems to possibly suggest that Sorachi-sensei is looking for a possible finish somewhere down the line, so perhaps this time the anime and manga will finish relatively closely to each other? (not that I necessarily want it to end either, but it is a possibility). I won't mention the chapters in question unless someone wants me to bring it up in spoilers however :P

Of course, I probably shouldn't have brought it up then sorry ^_^;;
It's going to be nice to have a show to look forward to watching other than my other mainstay again I have to say. These past couple seasons I haven't really found much of anything interesting enough to keep me watching.

Do we have any information regarding who's doing the OP and ED?
Edit: Just found it. OP - Tougenkyou Alien (桃源郷エイリアン) by serial TV drama ED - Samurai Heart (サムライハート) by SPYAIR & for those who wanted to see the trailer subbed.
