High-tier draws are weird...
And then there was that game where we thought that the unicum clan platoon would go out and kill everything in sight, but instead ended up farting around enough that the best we could get was a base capture draw... |

This is because you're pretty much forced to play the game through a proxy server. I ALWAYS suffer massive slowdowns during the first few games as my connection tries to readjust to this, and even after I end a session, it makes using internet browsers like Firefox a pain unless I close said browsers first.

Also, the more I stat-pad, the more likely enemy artillery will target my poor tanks in battle. In the end it is still skill that matters, and a "50%er" who actually improved their game dramatically can rely on XVM-using opponents to underestimate them. I'm much more concerned with my WN7 anyway. That's where, with the exception of gold derping (which guarantees troll damage), and with the adverse exception of my sometimes selfless and unacknowledged plays as spotter, bait, and first responder, my real contribution is counted. And based on that rating, I think I'm still worse than quite a few players on our clan. And of course, I cannot translate that individual medium-playing skill to serve the clan's cause in companies. There is just not enough...freedom...there, either because of the fewer number of tanks, the requirement to follow orders, or because the goddamned medium-killing KV-1S are everywhere. I still want to cross over the mysterious Hei's winrate though! And leave Touma behind XD. |

Gosh, tonight was like it was a weekend. Idiot teams and M4 derps everywhere, leaving me with a 25% win rate for the session.
I ragequit before it got worse.

Efficiency/WN7 and Irenicus: You're actually in the top five of MUP...
http://www.noobmeter.com/clan/na/mup I'm not sure how I got to where I am on that list, considering that I don't feel like I'm getting more caps and damage than other people. And as a minor note, people running XVM will also focus-kill you if you have a good performance rating... I would probably do better if I focused on a few tanks, but that really bores me after a while. I played only the T32 for 95% of my games today and I could hear my other 120 idle crew complaining at me. Though I do need to drop a project or two. The AFKPanther I don't think I'm in the mood to work with; I can be a lightly-armored sniper in several tanks that are of similar maneuverability or better-armored or not so freakin' huge, while also not getting scout MM. And the E8 and Cromwell are more fun to drive. My brief adventure in the S-51 reminded me that SPG play is not a good use of my style. I have a feeling that if I get through the grind to the IS-8 that I'll move the IS-3 crew into the IS-8 and put at least some of the KV-2/S-51 crew, which has comparable skill levels, into the IS-3. |
