Recommendations please!
Ah! Its that time again when you have just finished a series, and do not know what to watch next! Don't you just hate it? =]
Animes I have watched: Gundam Seed Gundam Seed Destiny Bleach (Pretty boring atm ><) Naruto (Fillers suck..) Scrapped Princess Inuyasha Rorouni Kenshin Twelve Kingdoms Witchhunter Robin Shaman King Cowboy Bebop GTO Fate/Stay Night Shakugan no Shana Ah! My Goddess! Gunslinger Girl (Like the development, though I wished it HAD a good plot) Gunparade March Tsukihime (Didn't like this, kind of confusing and boring =/) Onegai Teacher Onegai Twins Animes I intend to watch/continue: Mahoromatic Gundam Wing Bokura ga Ita Midori Tsubasa FMP Rec Genshiken Black Lagoon My prefered Anime of choice would be Action/Fantasy genre, with a touch of romance, similar to that of Fate/Stay Night and Shakugan no Shana. I am not too interested in Animations/Graphics that look old, like Fushigi Yugi. It just kind of turns me of lol. I'm also looking for Animes which are at maximum 50 Episodes. ~25 would be best. To sum it up, the Animes would preferbly have: 1. Fantasy/Action Genre with touch of romance 2. <50 Episodes, best if around 25 3. Decent Graphics/Animations Btw, if you think I should not continue/watch any of the Animes above, just say so with reason =] Also, does Black Lagoon have any romance  Thanks! |

Shounen onmyouji -- action, fantasy, romance set in Historical time line.
kekkaishi - currently ongoing, action fantasy romance zero no tsukaima - magic school, action adventure |

Well, I have heard about Mai-HiMe and its sequel, just a little hesistant to watch it.
I don't believe FMA has Romance, but even so, it seems too long to my liking. Though I understand that it is a great Anime. I'll watch it once I have the time. Been wanting to watch Zero, keep forgetting about it hehe ^_^ I'm not interested in Animes that are still running, sorry =] As for Shounen, anyone second them? |

Utawarerumono - Pretty good storyline, and quite similar to juuni kokuki (twelve kingdoms).
Chrno Crusade - doesn't have much romance, but it's still very good. Black Lagoon doesn't really have much romance for both the first and second season, but the relationship between rock and revy is progressing and I won't be surprised if they make another season and something between them happens.

If you haven't started D.N.Angel yet, you should do so now. It's really good.
But these are pretty good too: Air TV Full Moon Wo Sagashite (manga's better than anime... but anime's pretty good too) Kimi Ga Nozumo Eien Ermm....... Tokyo Mew Mew's pretty good........ but not everyone likes it.... YuYu Hakusho has a great storyline but the art isn't that great..... Not as bad as Fushigi Yugi but still not great. Ouran High School Host Club is pure comedy....... really funny |

Fushigi Yuugi
Lots of romance, kissing, dating, sex, action, marriage, engagement, proposals. The manga is much longer and better than the anime, more kissing, more sex, more engagements, proposals, marriages. Ayashi no Ceres Manga has more sex, more kissing in hotel rooms, deeper storyline then anime. Sailor Moon has the couple dating and boyfriend and girlfriend during the series, in a serious relationship, getting engaged, getting married, having a child, having a wedding, becoming king and queen, becoming husband and wife, lots of kissing and a wonderful romantic relationship. |

Air the Movie has more romance than the series(which barely had any)... at any rate - watch both of them
 Tho if you want to avoid sad endings Air is to be avoided like plague  (either that or bring tissues)

Full moon wo sagashite has a happy ending... (i mean fairytale-like ending) however, there is a certain episode that is very sad. Maybe the bad thing that you heard about the ending is that it didn't follow the ending in manga.
Utawarerumono has romance but its not the main genre. Its more on action/adventure... but theres always a girl behind the main protagonist. if you're looking for some adventure/action like shana you might consider The Third. Main genre --- action/adventure/sci-fi/fantasy. Romance comes in as an add-on. The girl also used sword and has talking vehicle buddy. |
