To the guys comparing Ichika to Kirito...it took Kirito about 2 years to realize it, not one volume .
Hopefully, I haven't traumatized people over the little v8 story, though I had a full volume worth of plots planned out (amusingly, I had an idea of Kanzashi being bullied by the harem as well without her sister around). Yes, it was me. Now, time to go back to my life of no translations. I think, given the difficulty of Gundam Unicorn, I might only be able to start in August or so.

Still don't get how people can compare the two. One is dense. The other is whiny.

No, I am glad he isn't like Kirito or else he would go choosing his love freaking early in the story that it will give massive disappointment towards the fans who love the other heroines as they would know the other heroines are pretty much wasted and won't have much chance in love.

The timing is pretty different too. If one of the girls had two (near-isolated) years time with Ichika, and some life-or-death situations, the lead would be far too massive for anyone to contest. thing is though, they didn't, and so all the girls in IS made their entrances within a similar timeframe, and no clear winner was established early on to ward off competition. Really, Ichika's in a situation where he couldn't have chosen earlier, is too endangered to make a choice at the present time... |

For anyone of you who directly or indirectly said Ichika suck
We're talking about an orphan who never saw his parents, ever. Bullied day to day because of that, then certain genius bitch who just happen to be people he care of to an extent dropped the bomb and made his position even worse in social hierarchy. His precious people? A spartan, cold-assed sister who use swim and sink method for everything, a pair of violent, emotionally unstable childhood friend, etc Tell me again, if Ichika not become an idiot he is now, we got an emo jerk 'Makoto Itou 2.0' material. I really, really don't want that route... It's the narrative that's at fault

Oh, at least I can say that it's Lingyin who's too whiny
Ichika got worse than her at least, and Houki, well How about "Separated from parents because of your sister and probably will never get a permanent friend" sound? And yet V3 and V4 botched it with nepotism and easy reunion. BEST PLOT EVER

I'm gonna have to agree with Chaos on this one; what protective assistance does being horribly dense give? And why would his relation with M (which tbh is still largely unclear, nothing's actually been confirmed and/or given exposition yet) put him in a situation where being horribly dense would be helpful? |
