Now I get it a little better.

But that keeps my previous stayment true to me: Assassin is the Servant that always gets the shaft. Even more than Lancer.

1) Is there a difference between A and B when it comes to stuff like:
Battle Continuation
Madness Enhancement

They look like they are saying the same thing.

2) Is it my imagination or the Archer class Noble Phantasm is exceptional?
Hundred Heads, UBW, Gate of Babylon...

On the Archer class I think is because so far we haven’t seen an actual archer. We see people who fire lots of things at the same time and only one of them has been actually using a bow. Even so EMIYA does use two swords as his main weapons. So really will be more like the Archer Class Servant is meant to be never summoning a proper archer. I mean Lancer has a spear, Saber a sword but an Archer with a bow? That is just silly

I meant that Archers possess good Noble Phantasms. If Hercules was an Archer, he would wipe everyone out just by being there...

Because archers are summoned with physical optimization to be a ranged combatant. Caster is a similar case where they only fire ranged. The only difference is the manner in which they create these ranged attacks. The Archers use their noble phantasms and the casters use their magic.

Asking an Archer to be purely reliant on their physical capabilities to win in the holy grail war is like asking a gunfighter to win in a martial arts tournament featuring the world champs of every other hand to hand discipline in the world.

Even if hercules were to be summoned as archer, I doubt he'd be as strong as his berserker form. His physical strength would probably drop to B instead of A and his other parameters would get similar modifications.

At least that is my impression of the grail's servant class system.

No, it's actually canon that Hercules would have been a lot stronger as an Archer and that he was only summoned as a Berserker because the Einzbern's wanted a dog that'd listen to orders and not betray them

Well, PHYSICALLY he'd be weaker, but yeah he'd get his tactical mind back and be able to use Nine Lives and such.

Basically hercules archer would be spam NP type as well. And not wrestle everything to death.

He's adventurous though. I searched for his personality.

Vs Gilgamesh, I have no idea who would win....

Not just nine lives either, archer Herc got given some NP by Nasu that let him beat the Hydra pretty easily, it was something like shooting so many arows at once that it destroyed (yes destroyed not just hit, like as in "Kaboom") all of it's 100 heads at once killing it, the common opinion is that Herc just sits in the Einzbern Castle and uses that on anyone walking by and wins the war with ease.

And yeah max we get the Archer in extra that everyone would expect to be an Archer so he's a proper one alright

I don't think he'd stay in one position. Count his personality.

Herc would probably be worse as a Saber as he's keep his Legendary strength.

Archer Herc might get a nasty anti-army NP (detroying 100 heads would probably count as anti-army than anything else), but Saber Herc? Ouch.

Nine Lives Blade Works and his sword skills. But Archer is the best for him.

He's practically perfect.... it's like only Gilgamesh will be the first to draw Ea on him (and use Enkidu to boot). The chains would then probably break.

That chain Gilgamesh uses is actually really bad. It only works with divine blood. So Servants like Hercules, Lancer or Iskandar will never be able to break free because they have some level of divinity. But for the other Servants the chain will be just a normal chain, not a super awesome antigod device. Or so I hear.

"Never", eh? Too bad Hercules did break them after Gil slashed out Ilya's eyes and heard her scream.

Legend wise, there is not such thing as "never" for Hercules when it comes to strength.
