I personally think "Celtic Moon" is a brand name of clothing that exists in the Negima universe.

OK I tried to work out what parts of the first anime corresponded with what parts of the manga. (I wanted to see how chopped up it was)
Of course I haven't actually read the manga so I had to go by the chapter names on wikipedia. Anyway I got into a problem with
- Episode 5 (Chamo trying to pactio Negi and Nodoka)
- Episode 15 (Ayaka's house visit)
- Episodes 17 and 18 (Nodoka and Negi's amusement park date + Asuna baking a cake)
And episode 22 (I don't know whether this is part of the filler ending or not)

Anyway this is what I came up with (Episode numbers-Chapter numbers)
So some of this is probably wrong too.

I already know that 19 and the ending have no manga counterparts. I also know that the Kyoto trip was cut very short and that the pillow fight was originally on the trip. (I knew it would be pointless to try and workout what parts of Kyoto were cut)
Also there are other parts I know are different even in these episodes as well (Asuna's fish costume isn't in the manga for example) But I thought it would be helpful to just match up the basic plotlines.

Unless it's a knock-off of the Kissing-terminator, which is ch83-85

Episode 17 is very loosely based on chapter 33.

Episode 18 contains elements of chapters 34 (Negi's initial reaction to Nodoka's love confession), and 37 (Negi's response to the love confession)

ac195: to be fair the last couple of OVA's is fairly good ... i mean ... at least it tries to follow the canon fairly close

on the other hand they're also placed somewhere around ch180 give or take a few

Well I took the $379.50 plunge and now own 23 volumes of Negima manga and marathoned it over the following four days (I'm a slow reader).

But there are some things I want to confirm.
Firstly did we get told who Misora pactioed with?
Also I'm not sure if I understood everything properly but Mei Sakura has an artifact, right? So does that mean she has a pactio too? And if so do we know who with? Also does she have an official card?

not clearly, but heavily hinted at that its Cocone

artifact means Pactio ... though as of who its with and how the card looks is unknown she certainly have one ... (wild shot is Takane, but theres no hints towards who it should be ... it could even be one from her previous school, since she's informed to be an exchange student from USA)

Actually, it has been confirmed that Misora's Pactio is with Cocone via the Pactio card that came with a drama CD adaptation of a few chapters of the manga.
