Utako isn't showing up with Anzu's new family anymore.

The side pan of all the background characters used to end with Utako showing up in large profile at the left end, but now she's been removed.

Maybe there will be a twist about Utako? At least I doubt there will NOT be violence based on how the writers are treating the supernatural events.

Well,yeah...nobody likes Utako too in manga. She never considered as popular waifu among manga fandom either, it were a wonder she was pushed as commercial waifu in the early episodes.

I liked her in the manga, even if she is selfish, but the manga picked on her on how useless she is along with that. but the anime kind of cuts and skips lines here and there where its just 100% bitchness without any of the roast on her

Heh. Problem is, I think the only one of those four who is over 30 is her mom, and only barely, at that. Hitomi is only maybe 13 (late year, 7th grade), so her mom might possibly be 35 at most, and maybe only 31 or 32. The rest are still in their 20's.

Anyway, aside from that, I've been pondering the 'theme' of the sketches within each episode. They all fit well together, but I keep missing my guesses on what the extra skits will be because I guess wrong about the theme.

Episode 1: General introduction
Episode 2: Larger world (Anzu's appearance, Girly club visit)
Episode 3: New life (Homeless Anzu, Bartender Hitomi, Hina cleaning house)
Episode 4: Burdens (Hina disowned, Hitomi listening to everyone's problems)
Episode 5: Friends (TV search, classroom detectives)
Episode 6: New family (Hina, Anzu)
Episode 7: Moving forward (Anzu restaurant, Hina election, Nitta date)
Episode 8: Espers (Kei's investigation, Mami's attempt at learning ESP, Hina leaving)
Episode 9: Ironic achievements (Mao's summoning, Nitta's promotion, Hina's congratulations)
Episode 10: Money (Hitomi's jobs, Anzu's allowance)
Episode 11: "Violence" (Nitta stuff, 'other' expected stuff)
Episode 12: ??

It's unlikely that we would got America episode then.

We get to watch Nitta every week so we now he's actually a nice guy and not that scary, can't blame the journalist for being scared, I too would be if I had to be around a yakuza member like he is currently doing so I understand his situation.

Street fighter parody game.

I do feel sorry for the journalist now, he got the complete opposite of what he expected/wanted.

Nitta's reaction after seeing that was expected, I thought it was really funny how the other members and even Hina made fun of him because of it.

It was really nice seeing Anzu just being a kid and having fun.

Haha at Nitta's reaction to Hina going missing.

Only 1 episode left, going to be sad when this ends, it's been such a great anime to watch.

This chapter was such a homerun. first nitta live was not what Seta expected and ended Embezzlement the whole thing and the other yakuza comment was so funny.

Yeah Nitta was like why i got the worse esper...and Nitta reaction was like...again or this too, heck this chapter was so funny.

Heck they even use a matsuri name for the end....yeah what a wild Ride with Hina/Hitomi/Anzu-Matsuri.

Everyone should have their own personal Anzu. The world would be such a better place.

I like how Nitta's bosses memorized the documentary. And I rather like the look on Hitomi's face when Seta fell to the ground and tried to encourage Nitta to throw a punch. Sort of "Wow, so there really are things I haven't seen yet".

God, I love the emphasis of the characters' reactions. The story of "N" was epic while the cliffhanger left me "WTF?"

Another 10/10 banger of an episode.

The first half just goes to show how misconstrued and misleading tv programming can be when the people involved take things out of context. And the second half...good god. Anzu is a completely different person now, and Nitta's failed mission of bringing out her old self was hilarious. And that cliffhanger....straight up reminded me of Borat when he got the call about his wife. What a funny scene.

Nitta might be a yakuza, but he's as normal a guy as it gets. None of his acquaintances were fooled by the documentary, it just made it easier for them to make fun of him.

Anzu truly is the perfect daughter. Where can I order one just like this?
