Petty? Illogical? maybe so...but every time I see it, that's what it makes me feel for some reason. Maybe it reminds me of certain annoying MCs or those arrogant "riajuu" side characters you want to see get run over...I dunno'.

The second cover is much more delicious with the Yuri undertones

The guy is just stupidly op, without even using his godly shinai nor any of his blessings or magic, his combat ability is among the top standard in that world with his sword skill and he has forced auto healing and unlimited stamina.

About the girls, the priestess almost rapes him during their first night in the inn

Initially, it looks like the priest is the innocent and "white" loving type, while the samurai girl is more level headed and is the retrainer of the blonde priest, it turns out that it's the opposite; the samurai girl is naive and trusting, while the priest is extremely level headed and calculating beneat her 'kind smile', she is also the scort while samurai girl is the noble.

The fact that the nun habit she has looks like fetish fuel is because that's exactly the point, she is dragging the attention towards herself. It was actually her job to get samurai girl in danger; so that scenario of 6 rapists vs the 2 of them was actually created on purpose; it's also implied that she has enough strength to keep the 2 of them safe in that circumstance.


She had plenty of reasons to rape the mc , but the bottom line can be summed up as "she thought he would be of use to the samurai girl". Even though the MC skillfully fended of her seduction, managed to unglue himself from her and peeled out her outer kindess and revealed her true character; she still managed a "game over" situation for the mc since it does look like they did it (after her foreplay, she was left almost naked on his bed, he has a knife in hand); the mc then noticed that she totally forced a no win situaiton by betting herself, starting by her entering his room even after he denied her access.


...... Since it was like that, he should just have left himself get raped

As many narou titles, this can be enjoyable as long as you pretty much totally give up on any semblance of encountering originality or uniqueness. (If you can read shiro no koukoku, you'll be fine with this )

The reason you can't get any originality is cause each scenario has been done to the death, LIKE EVERYTIME JAPAN HAS SOMETHING UNIQUE. The only thing you can look forward to is its execution. So go with that(I do, Arifureta,Word Master and Tate no Yuusha are the ones I find the most enjoyable cause of the execution, 85% of the scenarios in each are cliche as hell). The only time Japan won't do that is when the original is god-tier awesome like DBZ and no others in the same setting can keep up with it

For those who want to know, the story is that there is a world where the souls are all refusing to be reincarnated there as they died violently and so she decided to send Renya there as a kind of stop-gap measure. Other than the enchantments listed above, she give him a shinai which was enchanted with "indestructible" property.

And now the funny part

By the laws of "nature" whenever an object with "indestructible" clashes with an object without, the latter will always break. So effectively Renya has a weapon that can destroy anything, including magic.

Then about Renya himself. At 15 he worked for the chinese mafia, killing 912 people in 5 years. He then participated in WWII. In 4 years he killed 3712 people, all with his sword. In his entire life he killed 5730 people. In short he killed over 1000 people even after WWII ended.

Now imagine giving a person like that a weapon that can destroy anything and sending him to a world with a population of 1 billion at best... Yeah
