I'm wondering what Mega Man incarnation will be used. MvC2 used the original and TvC used Legends/64, so I'd like this one to have the X incarnation.

The change between Amaterasu's weapons is a seriously nice add-in. I'm very pleased with the outcome here.

Hmm so confirmed listing so far is.

Ryu (Obvious inclusion, I don't like him in SFIV but liked his TvC version which this will be similar too)
Chun-Li (Leading lady of Capcom, again I like her TvC version compared to SFIV)
Dante (Seems every build of this game shows off 3 new moves for Dante, great addition)
Trish (Could be an interesting inclusion, need to see how she plays more)
Morrigan (Happy with her as long as she's not as weak as her TvC incarnation)
Felicia (Pretty meh at this, probably included to make up for the sausage fest the Marvel side is)
Chris Redfield (Would prefer Jill or Leon but Chris is cool, could be very Cable like)
Amaterasu (Pretty good new inclusion)
Frank West (Silhouettes) (Didn't think much of his TvC version)
Viewtiful Joe (Silhouettes) (Thought he was crap in TvC period, hate this choice)

Wolverine (Duh)
Deadpool (You can tell the team put a lot of work into him, looks like being an awesome character)
Iron Man (Another obvious choice after the two iron man movies)
Captain America (Final Justice needed to be Abel like!)
The Hulk (Meh, but interesting how they changed his super to lift ppl up into another super from say Iron Man)
Dormammu (Could be good final boss material)
Thor (meh)
Super Skrull (The Fantastic Four in one package, looks pretty awesome so far)
Doctor Doom (Meh again, be annoyed if Magneto doesn't make it in and Doom does)
Spider Man (Silhouettes) (Another obvious choice, can't believe they haven't official announced him yet)

I'll probably roll with a team of Dante, Morrigan and Deadpool atm though that doesn't take into account team synergy which is very important in a game like this. Chun Li, Ryu, Trish and Super Skrull are others I might slot into my team depending on that.

I'm pretty sure the red aura signifies they're using a special attack.

Not just Captain America but every character.

EG Marn who's the best American player of TvC said that Trish was his top pick (as in strongest character) out of all the characters revealed so far.

Trish looks good in this demo, going to be a problem.

Trish is my main character, no doubt about it. She reminds me of Testament from Guilty Gear which is great. I also like how she looks in the game. Can't wait to see more characters.

Trish seems a bit overpowered in some respects, considering her traps can be set up literally everywhere. I wonder if there will be some kind of limit on the time they're there or on how many you can set up.

It's way too early to say who's the best character in the game. The roster hasn't even been finalized yet and Capcom is sure to play test the game several times before its release. The final product may end up being quite a bit different.

Someone earlier said Rogue will be the Marvel girl to break the Marvel sausage fest up, I just remember she doesn't have Ms Marvel's powers anymore, just has her power stealing one left. Doubt she gets included than.

Obviously he's referring to the current build and with this being a Spring 2011 release it won't be a case of "it may be different", it will be different. Still loling @ the character most of the internet has been calling a waste of a slot currently being the strongest character in the game.

It's easy to add up to that amount by ultilising the old Palette swap. Iron Man can be War Machine, Hulk can be Grey Hulk and Red Hulk, Spider-Man and his black suit, etc.

I thinking that Capcom might just throw in Phoenix and her alternate colour will be Dark Phoenix.
