I don't understand how shaft made this anime anymore... too much SHAFT'ED...

Anyway i still enjoying s2 and laughing in some part... and ep 7 show this anime can rival Haruhi in episode randomness...

The best part i like about season 2 is Mariya OP...

Guess I'm the rare Kanako fan. I wish she would get the hook-up (Shizu would be nice) but that would defeat the whole reason for this show I suppose.

The world's nicest girl ranking is so wrong. I understand Mariya being there since he's always pretending to be kind (and he was actually pretty kind in this episode, all things considered), but Matsurika...? Either way, Sachi should have been first. That girl is an angel.

I sincerely hope they'll go through with punishement next week. Needs more Matsurika Holic!

There are dozens of resources online for you to find the story out for yourself. Or there's always the option of going for broke and watching an episode then deciding from there.

That's understandable.

I'd love to help, but there's really very little to sum up in terms of "story."

Kanako, a lustful lesbian, starts attending an all-girl prestigious catholic high school. Her roommate is a sadistic, crossdressing boy (it sounds pretty bad, but it's actually just funny) who is outrageously popular. Nobody but her knows he's truly a man, naturally. The show is really all about the characters, and there are tons of great ones, including a mysterious dorm leader with cat ears, who has the funniest speech patterns and voice in the universe, and who demands to be addressed (and does so herself) as "God." The show is also chock-full of references, and not only the anime kind, as you might expect, but also to things I'd never expect to see in anime, such as Lovecraft, CSI and Marilyn Monroe.

Crazy enough for you? I can't recommend it enough; but it's not a show for everyone, that's for damn sure. Also note that this is the second season of the series, if you intend to start watching, begin with the first. (Named simply Maria Holic.)

On to the actual episode, it was hilarious as usual. I can never get enough of the dorm leader, so having her commentate throughout the episode was a real treat. Poor Kanako didn't get to say a word, but she was still funny. I love listening to her rant and gush, but one episode of silence even I can live with.

The whole anime is there for shits and giggles, don't expect any romantic action.

In the first season there were some hints and a development in that direction seemed possible, but the second season right now is absolutely random with no development in terms of relationships and story at all. Watching the second season is like watching bad Naruto or Bleach fillers. Nothing important happens.

GOTDAMN I LOVE Matsurika and Ryuken X03!!! Well, there wasn't as much Matsurika in this episode, but Ryuken has been really adorable this season. She just manages to have so many cute subtle gestures in her personality, despite her original bishounen-esque approach she had in S1.

Kanako though is REALLY getting old. She's completely annoying. I think the only time she WASN'T annoying this season was when she got out of that hyperbolic time chamber thing, where she had a far more refreshing personality.
