Nice throwback episode. Loved seeing the original OP and ED from the beginning along with the Baccano cameos.

They should make another episode like this near the series' end, but with the current cast. Maybe the upcoming OVA will do just that.

What screened this week is actually episode 12.5 from the first season. They announced it on twitter last week, just after episode 21 was screened (NB: that episode didn't have a preview for episode 22)...

Yes that's right, many people might not have watched this because it was originally released as an OVA. Therefore this episode should be numbered 9.5, not the actual episode 10 Durarara!!x2 Ten.

39 episodes, split into three cours (we're on the 2nd). The next cour starts in winter.

Everybody is interested in Dollars! Whether it is the Yakuza, Yodogiri Jinai who looks totally different or Haruna's dad.

Izumi wants revenge on Kadota and gang. Kadota got hit and run but is it Izumi behind it or someone else?

What happened to Kadota to a affect all his friends that especially Shizuo. You do not mess with people Shizuo cares about. We don't see Celty and Shinra but likely they heard the news.

I wonder if this is a scheme of Jinnai to draw out the super natural girls to a trap. Jinnai thinks he has mole in the four eyed ex-drug pusher to get the head Izaya has. If hurting Celty's friends is his plan then she'll come after him as he hurt her lover already.

Meanwhile Kida is bringing back the Yellow Scarves to destroy Dollars. He doesn't realize yet Dollars isn't exactly a gang nor does he have a clue Mikado is the founder.

Izumi says to Aoba he'll one day pay respects to Mikado who is the Dollars founder. Izaya pretty much spilled that one.

On Akabayashi's case he wants to know more about Mikado due to his connection to Anri. Like an overprotective father. Akabayashi did notice Izaya smile so he knows he knows about Mikado. Whether Izaya will spill like he did with Izumi is up in the air.

Nah three so far. Izaya uses the Nakura identity for his trolling schemes. Yodogiri Jinnai has the Yakuza, Shinra's dad, Celty, and Ruri after his ass so a little trickery helps.

On another note I liked on Kuzuhura daughter, this family is seriously made completely out of cops! I bet anyone named Kuzuhara are already born with scars on their face
