KGNE Seiyuus

Has anybody noticed that the voice actors used in the anime are all newcomers? Looking through animenfo, they're all first timers:,1...a_nozomu_.html

Others posts have mentoined how the company behind the game has connections with prominent seiyuus, anybody know why they went with rookies for the anime? Were they just trying to give new talent a place to shine?

Some of the talent is great by the way.. the ending song by Haruka's seiyuu was great too!

The seiyuu performance was nothing short of incredible. To believably convey emotions like this in extremely stressful situations - awesome. Just plain awesome.

They are not newcomers. Since the voice actors from the anime are the same as the ones from the game, most of them are veteran game voice actors and some of them are using a pseudonym (since that's an adult game and all, and pretty much everyone uses a fake name in that industry). For example, according to kj1980, Akane's seiyuu, Tomomi Uehara, is actually a pseudonym for Kaori Mizuhashi who's a pretty well established anime voice actress. However, Haruka's seiyuu, Minami Kuribayashi, IS a rookie in a sense, at least in anime voice acting (she did quite a few roles in games though), so yeah I guess she handled the transition pretty well.

And the minor characters that weren't from the game are all people that have a few anime roles under their belts (check for a more complete list of seiyuus). So the answer to your question is that the anime's seiyuu are the same as those of the game (if possible).

Talking about Kaori Mizuhashi, she has at least 5 pseudonyms: Uehara Tomomi, Nonoda Sanae, Toyoda Makoto, Tsukishima Rio and Kawamura Midori.
