Wow, having seen that which was posted from the visual novels, I can't imagine how poorly made this anime was, in comparison. I understand they're both capturing slightly different moods (anime was more fun/wtf, novel seems more wtf/horror), but seriously, the novel looks 100000000x better.
I think this is just another forgettable anime, but it never felt tedious to watch, so I guess it gets a few points for that. |

Just watch ep 11 - 12 :
Note 6/10 : The anime was fast and a bit stupid ! Finally Shogun died lol He was like : "Taku , please , just go save the world and let me die in peace , onegaiiiiiii !" LMAO Good to see Rimi X Taku ! Its surprising to see Taku acting like a hero , whereas before he was a weakling and poor man . Ahah the illusion when Taku kiss Rimi was hilarious The nurse omg she killed herself and the detective what an idiot ! What's wrong with Kozupi ? "Who are you" "Who i am" ...... Oh come on , you are you , kozupi .... but we don't know yet really her . I want Phantasm's song ^^ Its great ! Poor Seira-tan lol She was left away ..... ahah ^^ It was a good story but not enough entertaining . need more materials . See ya !Another anime end . |

Just watched the last episode.
Meh, this anime started really good, but soon it got overly stupid and ridiculous and it never got out of that department. The best thing in this anime was the OP and Ed which were quite catchy My rating for the series: 4/10 |

For a show I was on the edge about watching, this ended up being more interesting than I thought. Going into it knowing absoloutely nothing may have helped.
Sure, it got silly and "what's going on?" near the end, but that doesn't hinder it for me. I like the goofy and the cheesy and the epic speeches as a battle goes on. One of these days, I will get around to the game, mostly because I want to know more about the backstories of Takumi's harem. All things considered, he got pretty lucky. The music for the series is also really nice in terms of setting the atmosphere. With four more Character Song Triggers plus the Chaos;Head Noah music on the way, I don't think I'll be done with this just yet. Certainly one of the shows that kept me waiting for the next episode during the season. I give it credit for that. |

... and just finished the series. Despite comments on the episode of where I got it from... I can say this was an enjoyable anime... hell, it even had my kind of ending *is waiting to be shot now*
though that very last thing with their hands still has me confused... but overall, I rate this series about an 7.5 or so out of ten. I wish this series would've gone on just a little longer, but at least now I have free space on my hard drive

See, one of the reasons I got so interested in this, and the game, was because it DIDN'T fall into the stupid, overused "pick the girl you like" route system, and was essentially just a linear story. I like linear stories. They have actual integrity. And now the 360 port is going to ruin it by turning it into just another harem game. WHHYYYYYYYY |
