A one-shot OVA that had everything in it that made the Railgun series so fun to watch. I can only hope this isn't the last of the Railgun story that gets animated.

Most certainly not, as popular as Railgun is

I was thinking the culprit was an esper with spiritual-projection powers of some sort. Ah well. Good watch anyways.

Actually, I thought that the Queen was involved with the "Someone's Watching" urban legend.

Me too, but I immediately denied the guess when I remembered that there was still no new information on The Queen in the TAMNI wiki.
I still really want to know what she's like. Seeing as how she's a "lock-in," I can only imagine her as being sweaty, fat, and wearing glasses.

But anime is never what you expect.

The way they kept saying "electric-type esper," I kept thinking, "What, are they Poke'mon?" Made the episode (more) worth a second watch.

I lol'd at this.

Well the episode pretty much put the fanservice and action at pretty much the right combination, compared to some of the episodes of the series itself =P

This episode was the most compelling attempt from an anime to provide a genuinely creepy atmosphere throughout the episode. It was a much better job than shows I've seen that actually focused on the horror genre, so I was fairly impressed.

This question cannot be answered in this thread because it was not revealed in this OVA. If you wish to know the answer to this question, you may ask it in the Q&A thread or in one of the Source Material Threads.

Pretty good OVa, I gave it a 8/10. The whole thing was handled well, though I personally found the plot a bit boring, but they really did do it well.

A question for the SERIOUSLY nostalgic tech-heads here:

Does anyone know the model of the 8-millimeter film camera that Mikoto used to film that funny and heartwarming "Wonder Years" sequence in the OVA opening?

Cos I would like to get my hand on one of those and make movies the good old fashioned way again!!

8/10, End was crappy though. What another scientist fired and out for revenge [face-palm].
Ova was good though, I enjoyed it. Index II has not been that great of a watch for me lately

Just random news, but the OVA has sold over 30000, tying up with K-ON's sales!
And even beating the sales of any one volume of the TV series!

Maybe its about time to call Toaru Majutsu the spin-off and this the original... Hahaha.

I wouldn't go that far, it's obvious why Railgun sales better. Besides, it's not like Index sold poorly anyway. Not to mention Index has the best novel sales of any Dengeki light novel recently.

but still in sales railgun beat index. In terms of overall sales be it manga or anime. Well I really can't blame them. But I still haven't watched the ova yet.
