Light novel series Isekai Nonbiri Nouka (Farming Life in Another World) is getting an anime adaptation.

Synopsis

Having died of sickness at the age of 39, Machio Hiraku is given the opportunity to go to another world. When asked what his wish is by God intending to give him strength, he requests to have a healthy body, offered a second wish, he chooses to live peacefully, a third wish to be able to know the local language, and for a final wish, to be able to be a farmer.

Oh, this's no "farming" isekai. It's more of a management story. In no time he goes from having a little farm to running a town, dealing with local economics, trade relations, diplomacy and more. On top of that, it kind of does to the harem genre what Misfit did to the low rank but OP student concept. That is, takes it to extremes that one can only laugh at.

It doesn't take long before he gets himself a wife. Then when another woman shows up she quickly drags her in because "it's too much for her alone". That second wife ends up agreeing it's too much and brings in a band of high elves whose clan lost all their men and who want someone with which to repopulate their people. From there, the numbers just get bigger and bigger, quickly turning the place into a sizable village but also scaring the hero because of the more than 100 residents 99% are women who want to become mothers. Even when he does get more men in the village it's either dwarves who seem to equate breeding with other races to pedophilia (don't ask, I don't get it either) or lizardfolk whose reproductive system is entirely incompatible. It's never explicit, more of a running gag.

When he gets his house rebuilt the ladies make sure his room only has locks on the outside and try to install secret entrances. They make it pretty clear that he has almost no say at all when it comes to breeding matters, thus his desperation to find a few men who are capable of breeding to move in.

My biggest complaint about this series is that it forgets half its cast exists.

Yes, wives 1 and 2, along with his "dogs" (that is, inferno wolves capable of singlehandedly destroying a small town that he somehow thought were dogs).

Looks nice. The manga had a very casual look to it, like the sort you sometimes see in 4-koma (at least from my perspective). Nice to see this style.

Well, it is probably raunchier in the sense that the guy's basically getting laid constantly after the population starts to rise, to the point that it's becoming a serious issue.

If I recall in the manga it was less "casually sitting there" and more reluctantly accepting the inevitable invasion of what he'd hoped would be his first nice rest in a long while (and if I remember right the ladies do not let him rest, even there).
