RPG game Conception: Ore no Kodomo o Undekure! (Conception: Please Give Birth to My Child!) is getting anime adaptation by studio Gonzo for Fall 2018.

The story of the game revolves around Itsuki Yūge, a high school student who finds out on the day of his graduation ceremony that his cousin and childhood friend Mahiru is pregnant. Immediately afterward, Itsuki and Mahiru are taken to a magical world called Granvania, which is currently being invaded by monsters. The only people who can fight and exorcise the monsters are the "star children," and the star children can only be produced by the 12 "shrine maidens of the constellations." In order to defeat the monsters and return to his own world, Itsuki must father the star children with the maidens.

I think so. I looked very briefly into the game, and it sounds like these "star children" that are needed to fight are born as a result of the feelings of the girls. In other words, he doesn't have to have sex with them, they have kids from an emotional/spiritual bond of some sort. But still he has to maintain that bond with all the ladies he's with.

EDIT: OK, now I've seen the episode and I was completely wrong. It's sex. He has sex with the mikos and they make "star children" to fight the corruption. At least that's what the first episode seems to be saying, unless they pull a fake-out next week and reveal that the perv tanuki was just messing with them...

It's a fake-out. The perv tanuki is just a perv who likes to make things seem dirtier than they really are.

Everything about this was so bad, I wonder if it broke the bad barrier and turned into good. Almost half of the show was like a slideshow. 1 frame / 3 seconds.

They sure did use a lot of animation saving techniques in this episode. It was so obvious - pan shots, using only partial movements, weird angles so they wouldn't have to animate as much.

Well, the innuendo was still amusing so I will keep watching it.

It didn't manage to break the bad barrier.

The entire thing was very flat and lacking in energy.

It could have worked if they hammed it up more and put energy into it but...

Well I for one didn't mind that much. It was a little sparing with the animation but I still found it worth 20 minutes. Doesn't compare to some series but still not terrible. I did, however, notice at one spot they didn't even bother to animate a shift: when they were first talking in the forest, you have a spot where the girl goes from hands at her side to hand at her mouth laughing without any animation of the transition; her hand was just suddenly there. Aside from that, while I would have preferred more motion, I felt like it was OK. Maybe it's because I'd recently watched a playthrough of the game that covered much of this episode's content, and the lack of motion makes it feel a bit closer to the gameplay itself.

You know, after watching so many kinds of shows for over 2 decades you ask yourself if there ever is the perfect Isekai anime for you. With manly tears in my eyes I can finally say "Yes"

I love how the art is above average than most shows that comes out these days and especially the quality in hentai. This is going to be an entertaining watch for me purely for the ero comedy

Have you forgotten the definition of isekai? "Isekai" literally means another world or a separate/parallel world and as a genre is used to refer to stories where a person is summoned, reincarnated, or otherwise transported to such a separate world. This is classic isekai.

I think the single biggest failing of this show is it isn't being hosted on Hentai Haven, where it belongs.

So, I just watched the first episode and......it’s strangely amusing. I noted some points during the episode:

It’s nice to have the male MC actualy act sensible when he found out that his cousin was “pregnant” at this young age and outside of marriage. Instead of freakin out and asking who the “daddy” was, he actually voiced his concern more for the girl’s pregnancy & health and he tried to calm her down by not pushing the “daddy issue”. That’s kinda mature and shows how much he cares for the cousin which is actually a smart storytelling (at least before they got sucked by the magic circle).
Also, this MC is kinda sly and honest at the same time. He’s not obnoxiously pervy but also not helplessly pure to the point where totally freaks out when it comes to sexual things (in short, he’s no Issei and no Ichika which is good coz they’re obnoxious or annoying to me). I like his short sly and flirtatious exchange with the female doctor about “disappointment for not taking off his pants”. It’s almost like something that James Bond would say . His reluctant and shy admission that he does like sex is also quite charming to watch in a genre where the harem MC is often either too pervy or too pure. It helps that he’s not shown to be a total ladykiller either (like in Hagure Yuusha). He’s kinda relatable in his straight-ness to get to the point.
The female tanuki is also amusing. The part where the MC teased her is gold.
Very mediocre animation & visuals, unfortunately. But some of the chara-designs are actually legit good.
The story so far is basically just there to give the MC a harem to bang.

For the sake of the MC, I’m gonna give episode 2 a shot. Here’s hoping we’ll get even better grasp on the characters.

Yeah, this series does clearly cut corners in animation, but I still enjoy it. But seriously, something like this shouldn't be taken so fast. I could understand him winning Mahiru's heart in short order since, as a childhood friend, he's already had years to develop chemistry. But for the others if you want me to feel any real value or enjoyment in the girls' love for the hero, it can't just be a kid a week. Frankly, I'd prefer it if after this they switched to classical harem style, having him build relationships with multiple girls simultaneously and then having the children come a little more spaced-out. Even if the total time dedicated to any girl is the same, it still seems like it'd feel a little more like they took their time. They may be trying to fall in love for the sake of the world, but they could still make it look like they're taking their time.

PS: I've seen some weird endings over the years but what the heck was THAT!?!?

Instead, we get a low-quality anime with a boring story that tries to cover it up through shock value of having sex off-screen. And frankly, this character design is not very good. And it becomes noticeably so when you try to showcase so many female characters all at once. That said, I'm pretty sure that other guy was voiced by Makoto, which is kinda funny considering this show's name. That is probably the best joke in this episode. PS: If you are gonna have the mascot character move his mouth when he talks, at least... move it.
