Watched episode 9:

enjoyed this episode. Hinata is good at fashion. And those dresses they picked look cute on them.

unfortunately, Nodoka feel dizzy in the crowd.. but still don't want to go home because enjoy being there.

well. unfortunately they cannot get a group picture wearing their precure costumes - and you cannot put a picture like that into your room. xD -- so a normal picture would have to do! The girls are still cute wearing normal clothes.

Really nice of them to help the old lady pick up her coins, and Hinata has the sharp sense to know where the good luck charm fell. xD

Nodoka made a mistake. They should have treated first the mega byougenzu that have become larger. The one in the museum should be the last. What's important is she learn from her mistake.

looking forward to next week!

That was an intense fight with the third Megapathogerm. Nodoka and friends really got beat up. Well, the flower element gave them enough power for a team attack to win.

So that pathogerm seed parasitized an animal? Scary.. maybe someday pathogerms could get into humans too.

Oh, and first time I see Hinata in her school uniform without her jacket. xD

Or maybe there would be a new skill to remove pathogerms from living things.

I do like that the tension just slowly builds up here. Now the threat creates more unease. If they can't win fights quickly it isn't just about Latte suffering. The area will suffer damage that won't easily be restored. And on top of even that you have the potential for new enemy generals to be spawned as a result.

Doing a good job making it obvious how scary this all is. Of course Hinata is going to go "wait a second here." This is a great time for a bit of hesitation. They just went through a grueling struggle the past few episodes and had a tough time against this new enemy. Having someone like Hinata just be really worried about the future makes sense. Not everyone will just rally optimistically after that kind of thing.

Sad... it was beginning tp be fun. Well, can't do anything about it if it puts people's lives at risk. Take a break, then resume when it's safe again.

Anyway, they did run for 12 episodes already. That's equal to one full season of other anime.

It figures that the first Precure season in years that I thought was getting really good ends up getting hit by this. Can't be helped of course. Just figures that is how things would turn out.

Guess we'll just have to wait and hope for when they can safely resume.

Hmm, a new boss appear so soon. Talkative rat, his continous chitchat is getting annoying. Hopefully they should purify this guy quickly.

Hinata losing self confidence again eventhough they won.

Looking forward to when this anime resume again.

Realistically the actual animation side can work from home with not much issue. Most art is digital these days and communication can be done through phone calls, emails, or voicechat software like Skype, Slack, Discord, etc.

The main bottleneck is the voiceovers. Japanese recording studios have multiple microphones in one room and the seiyuu are expected to share them in an effort to save on costs and make scheduling more efficient (i.e. most or all of the seiyuu coming at once to record at the same time). Unfortunately, this can't be done from home, since a variety of expensive equipment needed to control volume and suppress noise (echoes, air ventilation, soundproofing, etc.) can't be found or used at home.

yeah, the microphone... I remember that nba player on youtube receiving harsh criticism for joking to infect the mics.

Also heard that japanese seiyuu will sometimes talk beside each other or even face each other as they read scripts. To give a more realistic atmosphere as their characters talk to each other in the show. With the virus threat this is simply not safe to do.

Really miss this show. Watching old episodes today.

I'm poor now, after two months no income... but still going to buy the ed sountrack once I recover...

Also, Crunchyroll will be streaming Precure, so there will be a legal sub version.

Glad to see it will be coming back. Easily the best I've seen of this franchise in the past few years so that's a nice thing. And heck finally it was picked up for legal subbing. Of course nod to individuals, but this is also nice to have.
