Okay, so Episode 2 clearly alluded to The Big O.
They mentioned a negotiator in the City of Amnesia and said "Ye not guilty." I figured that one of the voice actors had also worked on The Big O. I checked the voice actors but couldn't see any connection to The Big O. Were they just making the joke because they enjoyed that show? |

Extra credit if Kuuko makes any use of one-liners associated with the following units from certain RTS titles:

Stylish if I say so myself. XD
Gotta love the humor on this anime. Not nearly as entertaining as the first episode, but it was still good nonetheless. I've heard there's so much references in episode two, but I only managed to get four of them: Kamen Rider, Gundam, Star Wars, and Scryed. "If I don't hurry back, they might take Mahiro-san's virginity before I do." щ(゚Д゚щ) Ahahaha. That line cracked me up so much. |

Utterly brilliant. Captures what a character from the Mythos stories WOULD think while in Mahiro's situation. That is, be horrified close to losing one's mind at the thought of getting the personal and amorous attention of the Herald of the Outer Gods.

Found the thread anyway. Save it before it disappears http://boards.4chan.org/a/res/64468541 EDIT: and yes, he kinda does write like that, with more purple prose. Keep in mind that he was writing in a time when he was paid by the word count, or was it the page count or maybe I got the wrong time period I forgot, so he had to pad it up his writing.
