TV anime for Tsukiuta announced. Not much info is revealed yet but apparently the series is based off of drama CDs and popular Vocaloid composers.

Compared to B-Project this is more about both group's daily life than about the music just like the drama cds. QUALITY aside, I find the first three episodes to be quite comfy and cute. The characters are pretty likeable too.
The story seems like to take place a year after Gravi and Procella founded as Hajime, Haru, Kai, and Shun are already graduated from high-school. Song wise, I've never been too fond of their group songs, as they sounds like generic boyband songs (which technically fine considering that they are boybands). Their individual songs (the ED) in other hands, really good so far. Although Hajime's and Koi's songs sound so different compared to the composers' non-Tsukiuta songs. I wouldn't have guessed the guy who composed Hajime's song is the very same guy who make Shingancrimsonz song in Show By Rock anime if I didn't know him beforehand . Also, the ending is following the month (same as the list in the 2nd post), rather than the MC of the episode, so next ED is Arata's. |

Of all the things I was expecting from this show, a complete shift in tone plus a dive into the supernatural was not one of them. Looks like it's trying to give Fukigen na Mononokean a run for supernatural episode of the summer.
It would be cool if more of the episodes were like this, but most likely it was a one-off episode. |
