As the title says, I'm looking for a visual novel similar to Ever 17 ~The Out of Infinity~. Here are some criteria for those unfamiliar

-Philosophy is a big plus
-Science is a plus
-Suspense is great
-Blood is fine, but not a requirement... in fact, no blood would be helpful, but either or.
-Must have an English translation readily available on the net
-Romance is nice

Edit: I am a relative newcomer to VNs, with Ever17, F/SN, and Clannad being my only completed or tried VNs (Didn't finish Clannad... had to reformat when in After Story), but don't hold back based on difficulty. I like a challenge...

I think options are kinda limited sadly if it also needs to be All Ages (13/15+ and not 18+) as with Ever17. The same publisher (Hirameki) also did Phantom of Inferno which is a Suspense/Thriller too with romance but I believe its 17/18+. I'm also interested in Non-H titles but seems there isn't a lot with English translation.

Oh man Ever 17 is so great~

I really liked Chaos;Head, so I second that one!

You can always try Remember 11 ~The Age of Infinity~
It's from the same series and apparently it's similar.
There's a group that's working on an english patch right now.
I haven't played it yet because I'm waiting for the patch to be 100% done but the game itself is translated already and the final patch should be available really soon. But if you don't want to wait, you can already download a patch here.

Oops didn't understand the abbreviation of F/SN, shoulda guessed it was Fate Stay Night. Then maybe Utawarerumono (Action, Romance, Suspense, RPG/VN Hybrid) which had an anime.

For Type-Moon stuffs then Tsukihime and the sequel Kagetsu Tohya.

And since you liked Clannad then Kanon also by Key software has a full English patch available.

Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo is an extremely awesome VN. Amazing story and definitely has the romance, philosophy, and suspense elements. It does have ero scenes but they don't detract from the story at all. Also has a badass protagonist and Wakamoto lol.

It doesn't have as much mystery and suspense as Ever 17 but definitely still a good play.

I will second this. It is my third favorite visual novel after Fate/Stay Night and Ever 17. It has the best main character of any VN I ever played.

Might I also recommand Saya no Uta, fills the Supense and Thriller role very well with a little twist on reality.
