I just realized that in the anime version, Kizuna never actually did anything onscreen.

Well, she fought some monsters and she helped save/redeem Yomogi. I also think she provided Naofumi and co. with income and status (even if people didn't like her hanging out with the Shield Hero). Oh and she picked a lock once

And she made the anime more enjoyable in general

Yeah but like, we never see her do any real fighting in a major battle.

Well, the major battles were against humans and her weapon doesn't work on them, so not much she could do.

I just wonder if Kizuna thought of making the ball her friend on her own, or if her world has that movie and she thought it might be a good idea.

Finally got around to finishing S2, turned out to be a bit of a slog. Boring bad guy, and the tortoise arc should've been 1-1.5 ep at most.
