Since day one I' had always believed that there was something really wrong with Ayatsuji's perpetually wide and easy smile every time we see her. The ending of the episode more or less unmasked the truth behind the facade.
Blog post later.

Yeah, that shot of her. "Nageki no Tenshi" Haha, maybe. Though it still feels more scary than sad for some reason...

I must say, this was a great episode indeed. While the setup between Tsukasa and Junichi was cliche when they got locked in the supply room, I loved the easy going mood between them. Junichi wasn't flustered (aside from trying to look up her skirt but that's only because he's naturally perverted ) or wasn't forcing the chemistry, it just felt like a natural flow to their relationship with Junichi asking what kind of music she liked and such.
The curve-ball at the end of the episode was the best cliff-hanger so far in my opinion. I honestly didn't see that coming even though it was foreshadowed by Tsukasa's reaction to her sister showing up. Can't wait to see how this develops

Wow, I am just very surprised. I knew that since Ayatsuji was the last girl that I should expect a great story line from her. I was casually enjoying the episode, liking her charisma and strong work ethic, until, BAM, at the end. Now I am curious as to why she acts that way, and she has totally turned out very different from what I expected.
Here is hoping for some more great things as the story goes on.

I'm pretty sure those of us who have been using the forums and seen from the beginning have realized even without the manga that she has extremely fast mood/feeling changes. I remember we were all up in it during episode 5 (?) when her eyes went from being pissed off to friendly. I'm very glad to see her come back with just straight up physical force and visually wanting to kick Junichi's ass ( don't we all though ? ).
Spoiler for Why I havn't really been posting:

Well this was definitely a good start to the arc. Definitely thought there was more to her, though I didn't expect that much of a hidden side. Though probably should have seen it coming with how cold she got when her sister showed up on the scene. Though thought it was just an isolated thing related to sibling troubles .
I certainly can't blame Junichi for losing it in the preview. Poor guy must be shocked and terrified . Don't think she really needed to drop the act since he didn't read that much. Curious to find out more about her though the ED definitely gives plenty of hints. Should be an interesting matchup. Junichi certainly doesn't have anything close to a darker side, though he doesn't exactly broadcast the pain of the Christmas disaster. Wonder if either of them told the truth for why they went into the committee? Junichi using it mostly to force himself to attend even if it is against his desire.

Tsukasa is certainly an interesting character but she's scary. If Amagami is a harem anime, we will probably have a nice boat ending...thank god for the omnibus format!!! This arc started slow at first but it got interesting in the end. Anyway isn't it weird that Tsukasa is the one teaching swimming lessons instead of Hibiki or Ai? BTW for some reason I have this feeling that this arc will be all about the Founder Festival instead of romance. Junichi better pull off some moves ASAP...Hopefully the writers won't ruin this arc the way they ruin Rihoko's arc...

Recall the scene in Ai's arc where she stares down Tsukasa after she gave Ai a hostile look - that was a window into Tsukasa's mind. I expect the anime adaptation to explore Tsukasa's thoughts about her fellow classmates more than Precious Diaries. Although her arc is saturated with drama, it certainly would add more fuel to the fire. The million dollar question is: does she have something awful to say about the other heroines in her notebook. If she does, and the writers choose to bring that development into the story, I can see Tsukasa pissing off a lot of loyal fans. If she's going to snap, it will probably be directed at Haruka because she seems to steal a lot of scenes or Miya due to her trademark laugh.

I like Ayatsuji's character design and premise, and I was always wondering why her scenese were so short and single emotion. I knew they wanted to keep most of her stories a secret, and it really paid off this episode.
