I think MK did add border by the way, just for some reason he made it transparent which makes no sense as you can't even see it properly. If you look closely, you can see borderlike edges on the picture where the animation is moving underneath.

Oh, sorry, but you didn't specify that you wanted transparency, and saying 100x100 kind of implied that you wanted a square avatar (at least from my POV). I'm not good with transparency and it's hard to get the guitar in there and not have the avatar become really small so I'll leave it up to someone else.

Here's a tip : Never resize image forcefully to 100x100. Always restrain proportions or it comes out like that ; Awful and squashed or stretched.
