I have been watching anime for about 8 years now (my father was a big fan and he got me into it) I love anime and manga greatly and my interest has grown with age, I am a member of NanimeW and MUJS ^.^ I am yet to go to a con but amecon shall be my first! hope everyone is well and all have a nice day ^.^

Hmm... yup, my brother used to borrow anime from his friends when I was little and whatever he got to watch, I got to watch =P A lot of it was Chinese dubbed though so I never really got to watch any in its original glory. My first anime convention (and only one that I've been to) was Anime Evolution 2003 at Simon Fraser University (just this summer... I think it's a new convention that just started up this year...? It was cool. Umm... yeah... I don't know what else to say. Nice to meet you all everyone!

oh man, i've been gone for soooooo very long that i think i need to introduce myself again. i don't think anybody remembers me here anymore

i'm frowndog, from Manila in the Philippines. i'm currently a college student although i won't be for long

I started with animesuki a looooong time ago. sometime around february of last year or something. i registered march and was a regular here for sometime during my summer holidays. unfortunately, i had to move and the &(*)**&) phone company couldn't transfer my DSL connection properly so i was gone for a loooooooong time.

anyway, everyone hello again. i'm technically a newbie again because of the change in forums, so everyone please be gentle

Konbanwa minna-sama. Watashi wa avengerpnx desu. Hajimemashite! I joined a few days ago and have just got around to posting today. This is my 2nd forum so I'll try my best to fit in.(The boards in my other forum are slow as of late, so I decided what better chance to join a new forum)
Ano...I'm 20, I go to a Junior College and I pass the time away by watching anime, reading manga, listening to music, playing videogames, and writing. I'm in the works of creating a book. I'm good at creating characters and developing storylines. I'm not good at art or anything, but I'm hoping that it would become an anime or manga. (But I wouldn't even know how to start getting in touch with those kind of people that would do that) So you don't have to worry about me having bad grammar. (Personally, I think AOL speak is confusing...o_O

)

My favorite anime shows are: RahXephon, One Piece, Inuyasha, Naruto, FLCL, Love Hina, Ai Yori Aoshi, Cowboy Bebop, Azumanga Daioh, S.Cry.ed, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam Seed, GTO, and R.O.D. (There's a lot more but they escape me at the moment)

Jaa...that's about it I guess.

Hey everybody...this is my first post...wow......
I come to you guys after going to an anime convention and having animesuki.com smashed in my face while watching Maburaho in a screening room. They said something about only being able to get it as a Fansub (I was confused at the time..how was I supposed to know that I could get free kick ass new animes on line) So anyway I found my way to the [Anime-Keep] site first and figured out the whole BitTorrent thing from there. This whole d/l system just gives me goose bumps....it's like an

anime x-mas every day. Right now I have maybe 25+ complete d/l.

Any way I'm an active member at the cosplay.com forums. (hey is it me or does the configuration of this form look like cosplay.com's forum setup...hmm ) I'll try to balance coming here and going to the cosplay.com forums...these boards look fun!
