Might as well say that I have no idea as to what's gonna happen here. Urobuchi did say that it is going to "divide the fans", so take that what you will.
On another note, do you agree with the following complaints made, and if so, do you think this film will address them? http://flawfinder.wordpress.com/2013...ved/#more-9814 |

Madoka Magica already has one Satan-like figure. His name is Kyubey.
We don't need Homura to also be a Satan-like figure. Still, that made for an interesting read at least. And it certainly would explain Mami and Sayaka going after Homura. At the same time, I definitely hope Gen doesn't go for that. It would likely ruin PMMM for Homura's biggest fans.

It's scary that I can't dismiss that theory out of hand. That's just the sort of thing Urobuchi would do, not to mention I remember hearing that he said in an interview that the movie would divide the fanbase.
To think I was worried about Sayaka (I still am, though). This is beyond my wildest fears.

It's interesting that the Homura vs. Mami fight makes it look like they're trying to kill each other (seriously, a gun shot at point blank range to a person's head will obviously kill that person), but Mami stops what looks like a Homura suicide attempt. Kyouko and Sayaka in the large Tea Cup Fair-Ride was just lolzy to the extreme. Should be very pleasing for fans of that pairing though, lol.
