I've heard no word about it, though i hope Kajiura Yuki returns as the composer for the OVA's. There shouldn't be any worry considering her amazing job with the first two seasons --- though i'd be happy with something official.

Also, don't you think we should create a new thread in the Unaired section? Maybe a mod could move these posts into that thread.

First Press just makes it sound more limited, so they can front load the sales. Since everything in Japan ships by demand, unless they intentionally make it limited there'll be more than enough. Considering it's not really a real first press deal and a completely different product altogether with a much higher price, it's all marketing.

As for what the OVAs cover, the 3 episodes are supposed to cover the entire Tokyo Arc which is Vol15-18. How they intend on covering almost 4 volumes worth of content in 75 mins is going to be hilarious though. It doesn't really matter if Ohgawa is writing the scripts herself, since she wrote the X movie too, and we all know how THAT turned out. :P

Season 1 wasn't bad at all. But I suggest you stop right there since season 2 gets pretty crappy. But, if you want, go on ahead and keep watching. x)

The only thing that annoys me is sakura's voice actor... I swear her voice is soo damn annoying and has no emotion...

I especially hate it when she says watashi.... Sounds so bad..

I have all 6 volumes of the first series of Tsubasa on DVD so far

Am totally hoping and wishing that they'd hurry up & start releasing the second series over here soon though

It's so not fair as they're almost all out so far to buy in the USA

hm ...maybe no one will believe me, but I had a theory about tsubasa from the start, I always thought C. Saku and Syao are both from CCS that's also why I rp as CCS, and C. Sakura on here. just later my theory got more huge when the R.Syaoran and R. Sakura appeared . then I thought again about it and thought C. Sakura and C. Syaoran just lost their memories more earlier

Maybe Young. C. Sakura and C.Syaoran are reborn in the CCS World.. while The Tsubasa Li has his CCS Parent's in a another world . so that way,
CCS Sakura and Syaoran aren't Li's parents his Parent's are inside the glas tube .
( remember they turned back time left their children behind and each of them sacfrised the ability to touch on each other . for the sake of them who the love )
plus they clothes they wear are exactly the same of them two that appear besides the R.Syaoran and R.Sakura
it makes sense here too.

so they just have a smilar power as the ccs, ones because they have the same soul and CCS Sakura alias former
C. Sakura gave, her Staff to help ,and also maybe they are the parent's of R. Sakura. which would explain why
R. Syaoran has ( how it seems ) feelings towards R.Sakura . if they aren't silblings ( in direct ) then it would make sense . CCS Syaoran and Sakura alias former C. Syaoran and Sakura. remember everything of their past life this time,.( or know what will happen because of CC Sakura's ability to see the future in her dreams ) and that's why young CCS / Sakura alias C.Sakura decides to help her otherself and gives her Star wand in the Dream. so maybe "that" Sakura and Syaoran that appeared in the last chapters besides O.Sakura and O.Syaoran aren't the C.Sakura and Syaoran we know. but just Li's Parents from Tsubasa to make it more clearly we would have then 3 Sakuras and 3 Syaorans x_x in one Story.

CCS Syao and Sakura lost their memories more earlier then the story starts, and Li and real Sakura are their childrens.( for Li Syaoran we know that he's the son of CC.Syao) So maybe R.Sakura is also the daughter of them ,. which also would explain why R.Sakura says at a certain chapter in Tsubasa when Li tells her that she looks like her mom and has the same name.. "but my name is..." still I get confused here why R. Sakura does know that but nothing else. and why R. Syaoran does not know about her being his sister ( ?)
if R. Sakura is the daughter of CC Syao and Saku then it makes sense that she probably has another name. but not sure . I think might everyone meets again in the ccs world also I guess that CCS alias C. Sakura and C. Syaoran appear in the next chapter 222 besides R. Sakura and R. Syaoran and then it's a timeback when they used their magic to save the worlds.


as from here on I think that CCS / Sakura ( from Tsubasa) and I mean only Tsubasa met the CCS Sakura from CCS ( only ccs ) in a dream so that means CCS Tsubasa Sakura is not really the CCS one of CCS ( omg that's really a brain crashing but I guess people will get what I mean )

as for trying to explain it better

CC Sakura, Mom Sakura/CloneSakura as well as CCS Syaoran/Father/Clone Syaoran
really only has the same soul as CCS Sakura and Syaoran, but CCS Sakura ( only ccs ) wasn't the CloneSakura/MomSakura's past self. Just same soul but different lives. Just like other peoples in the last worlds like sorata and arashi or someone else.

since the time /places plays no much role in Tsubasa it would even make sense also yuuko said that Li's parent's "turned back time and left their children behind"
but even after all I still don't get that clone thing.maybe this is the reason why everything started aaaaw to confusing ...though it's might easier to explain as we think of , since the whole tsubasa story has actually nothing to do with ccs, besides the fact that the main characters have the same soul and C. Sakura / Mom met CCS Sakura.....


I wait for clamp to to clear up all that confusion after all CLAMP made it . and CLAMP always manage it to crash our mind, I think my theory still makes sense after 221 chapter. also I remember Yuuko said in xxxholic that watanuki's parents are still alive but in another dimension.!! ( OMFG could it be???? then might Watanuki's Parent's are Original CCS Saku and CCS Syao ( world). because they are from a different Dimension and if C. Tsubasa Saku and C.Syao regenerate the time . . then Watanuki might will be reborn on normal way in the Original Dimension . plus it was mentioned Watanuki resembles Clow and also Watanuki says "that's not father and mother" when he mets the scene of R. Syaoran & Sakura and C. Syaoran and Sakura. but if we guess that Watanuki's parents look the same like them, and we include Watanukis mystic power. then that would explain that watanuki knew that this aren't his real parent's. even if he had forget everything about them.
and Watanuki-kun is chased by ghosts . ( ghosts which ccs Sakura fears the most!! )

but even so a lot things that confuses me still .
I just got an new Idea, what if that things in Tsubasa happened the whole time for all of them. and the time we see is just one of part of that endless repeating? then that would mean, it might restarts again and again and again..omg In the end the story ends there were it started I would curse clamp !!

it's not long enough, though CLAMP stopped the production because they weren't happy with the way the second season turned out. A third season was even planned to start an April few years back, though didn't happen because of this reason.

Though thanks to that, so far we've seen two OVA productions by Production IG, and personally speaking as a manga reader, they are what i like to see in terms of adapting the material.

I still quite like the two seasons that did happen, though with the material they could have been so much better.

Read the manga and would like to see an anime adaptation after tokyo revelation to fye's world. An anime viewer won't understand very well what has happened recently if he pass from Tokyo Revelations to shunraiki adaptations. I definetly recommend to read the manga for this series.

So basically, there's no knowing when the Tokyo revelations OAV will get dubbed? My mother and I have been watching the anime series but she doesn't want to watch it in Japanese so we're waiting for the dubs, if they ever come out. Anyone know if they'll ever come out?
