i tend to change alot and listen to all genres but at the moment im listening pretty much into:
Electropop - Presets
Indie Rock - Kaiser Chiefs
Dance Punk - Klaxons

I listen to mainly Asian pop mainly... but I don't mind Classical, Pop, etc... as long it's not Emo, Punk, or any form of Rap.

Everything that isn't rap, talentless, or very poppy pop (Michael Jackson acceptable Britney Spears not type thing) I will listen to. But classical is my favorite by a couple of levels, not as much opera unless they are really good operas.

I LOVE many other genres as well (hardcore punk of the 80s like Black Flag, classic rock like The Who, alternative like Weezer and Sonic Youth, heavy metal like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, I could go on forever!) but those 3 are my main favorites.

I'm more of a "per-song" guy, I go for particular songs rather than genres. I mean, Pachelbel's "Canon in D", K-c and Jojo "All my Life", Scorpions "Still Lovin You" and "Holiday"... the list goes on and on. Last couple of years, I switched to J-pop, particularly AKB and Morning Musume stuff.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but with the exception of metallica, none of them are what i would class as "heavy metal"

Slipknot and Korn = Nu Metal at best

Children of bodom = Melodic death metal

for me screamo is just a buncha guys doing a demon growl scream while banging their instruments and rap(most) just annoys the crap outta me and makes me wanna jump out the window

other than those two im flexible and will listen to just about anything
rock, pop, and 90s music are my fav genres

Uhm, demon growl scream? Isn't that what you call "grindcore" music genre? Or in other words, screamo deathmetal?

Rap also annoys me these days. Especially R&B male artists. There are so many out there that the style of their music has become generically the same.

I voted other as there is nothing remotely similar to my favorite, which is Trance-music . The sub-genres I like in trance are psy-trance, progressive trance and full-on trance. It's actually a bit odd, as I never ever use any drugs, but I still enjoy listening to that genre the most.

My catelogue is ridiculously varied, and I actually listen to all of it. Classical and Jazz to Rock and extreme Death Metal.

So... I have no idea what to vote for the thread. I guess I'll just say "rock" :/
