Maybe Konoharmaru episode won't be that bad...I just find it very irritating that they would title a whole episode with his name in it like its gonna be all him when I read the Manga it was only a short stint...

One thing we do know is that none of these episodes up to 163 will have top notch animation. We know the teams and they are mediocre.

So far no mention of Hirofumi Suzuki getting involved. SP's top and clearly most expensive animation guy.

Hirofumi Suzuki? The last time he did an episode was way back during the Deidara battle, right? I wouldn't mind seeing his work again...

That being said, the new movie is being released soon, so, of course, all of the best animators and supervisors had to cut some of their duties to the series in order to help with the film. Sadly enough, though, since these current episodes and the movie were made very close together, the current episodes are lacking the much needed quality they deserve (in other words, the yearly time-table wasn't very well thought out).

162 should be very good, actually. But yeah, no "special" episodes.

Apparently he will do an episode of this arc (at this point it's pretty obvious which), but it's just a rumor for now.

Is it possible James or someone for them to make a speculation about the number of manga chapters covered for each of the upcomming chapters for each of the titles?

24 - 7 = 17

That means that there would've been 17 days between those two episodes and that would be more than 14 days and definitely be irregular... 7th is monday xD

I just like to calculate, don't let it bother you ^^

Though, the stabbing of the poor girl could act as either a good cliffhanger going in to 167, or, even better, a good act break, leaving the rest of 167 open for the 6-Tails appearance. Either way, fun times are ahead (can't wait to see who's will direct Chibaku Tensei, then, of course, Minato - the emotional climax of the arc (which should have probably been Suzuki, but I will definitely wait and see/hope).

Then they will extend the fighting scene a little, and then turn the stabbing scene into five minutes of Pain breaking every bone in Hinata's body. The episode will end with the end of 437.
