Guess the girls wanted Touma to be their Prince charming, but instead what they got is hero that fights for his beliefs even in the face of danger and fought for their sake (Ex index, Mikoto,Imouto etc)

It's touma we're talking about. We don't die from that. At least his misfortune wouldn't allow him to die yet. he still has a whole lifetime to suffer. The imagine breaker won't let him go that easily.

Well I liked Touma as a protagonist and I just don't believe the spoilers that have been released, so he might not come back.

The thing is how many times will he appear since he is not the protagonist anymore, and any way you look at it his story really isn't over yet.
