Meh, people can have two Guides untill next version. (copied the previous guide into the new version data). Now I have to do something about my damn save games. Its impossible to keep going at this point.... (downside to testing out the savegames alot...) The new content is definetly the kick-up in spooky that we were waiting for. Good for an all-round scare. Or in my wildly twisted case, a great laugh.... (NOTE: I beta-tested the Day 11 content at midnight with all lights off and my face inches away from my laptop screen - I was laughing like a maniac) And now, for a random club-related discussion topic.. What would your shopping list include? Last edited by DaCyclops; 2008-04-22 at 09:00. Reason: making my question more visible |

Im more thinking about something that would let me archive my save games and recall them if I ever need it. Ive got something in mind, but its well beyond my current skills... maybe... And no problem with the testing - the better it works, the better it is for everyone including myself! access to the beta translations isnt exactly a downside, either |

I've been playing the game on my XP machine and I love it! Your translation is awesome and very nicely done. I really liked the events of the recently translated days and am anxiously looking forward to more.
I noticed you have an onscripter file for Mac OS X, and since I have a Macbook Pro, I thought I'd like to get the game on my laptop as well. I have all of the translation files and the .dmg onscripter file from Sonozaki Futagotachi, but I can only find the demo as an .exe file, which I don't think will run on here. Granted, I'm still learning how this OS works, so I may be missing something painfully obvious. Is anyone running the game on OS X, and if so, what do I need to do? Or is the demo Windows-exclusive and I have to buy the game to play it on my Mac? Or am I just completely out of luck here? Thank you for any help with this, and again, thank you to Sonozaki Futagotachi for this wonderful translation!

AS far as I know, you can only get the demo in a self-extracting .exe file. The way to get it onto Mac OS is to first extract it on a windows system...
...I must resist the urge to extract it and make you a zip file.... |

I have the folder with the actual program and the translation files on my Windows desktop...Since I'm not at my Windows machine at the moment to check this myself, are there any other files saved to, say, Program Files that I'd need to copy over as well or just that folder on my desktop?

I've got a mac, and everything works.
What you gotta do is make a folder with all the files, slap the ONScripter in the middle of it all and run it. It should work if you have all the files lined up correctly. |

Okay, something's not working right...someone let me know if I missed something.
I took the extracted folder on my Windows machine that contained the original demo files and the English folder with the translation files (and the hidden WAV folder is in there too) and copied it onto my Macbook. It's currently sitting on my desktop. After getting past the authentication problems whenever I tried to put the Onscripter DMG file in there (I ended up making a new folder and copying the files to get around that), I put the DMG file into the English folder. I open it, then run the Onscripter program in the "dist" folder that appears. Then I get the error "No game data found. This application must be run from a directory containing the ONScripter game data." As I said before, I'm still new to OS X and am sure I'm flubbing up something that would be easy if I was more used to this thing. What on earth am I doing wrong? I apologize for being such a bother and appreciate all the help so far!

Okay, you have to have a copy of the ONScripter-En.app program right in the same folder as the patch. Just drag the ONScripter-En.app file (in the 'dist' folder that you saw) to the 'English' folder, so it's copied there. It should work if you double-click that file now, but let me know if this doesn't resolve the problem. Good luck and enjoy!
