Anywho, how's the rest of the P4 fandom taking the choice for the MC's name? Most of the places I usually hang out with are either okay, neutral, or have some variation of "Charlie Tunoku>*insert whichever order of Yu Narukami or Seta Souji you prefer*"

Also, something else I just thought of. Do you think the party members fall unconscious when their Shadows attack as in the game or will they go the manga route where they're still conscious during the fight? I didn't like that in the P4 manga.

I think they're going with AIC as Atlus has a lot of experience with them. AIC animated everything from P3, P4 and, of course, Trinity Soul. So I think it's pretty natural to go with them.

I think of all the staff announcements the best is that Shoji Meguro is working on it. The music in P4 is very memorable, so it would be dissapointing to get the typical bland anime sound track.

But Trinity Soul was actually animated by A-1 Pictures, not AIC.

ooh finally the trailer! I can't open that mayonaka tv countdown last night so I didn't see it.

it's just arghh finally!!! I'm hoping for P4P but anime adaptation is also great news for me! (Yu Narukami? so the protagonist finally have an official name. hmm should I replay the game with this name?
I hope for a good interaction with social link, great battle scene, and

Anyway, I don't see what the problem with the name change is (bar whether one name is better then the other). Most Atlus games (including Persona) don't really have Canon names for the protagonist, bar for convenience sake if they make a manga or Drama CD.

I don't see why they wouldn't use the original name though.

Am I the only one dreading Kugi playing Rise? Subdued Rise was fine (if even excellent), but when she got her genki back, I just wanted to claw my ears out (why oh why couldn't she have played the loli cousin?). And with her commentating on every battle move... lol yeah XD

Sure hope they release it this side of the Pacific though, and keep the original dub actors at that. <3 Laura Bailey <3

So yeah, kinda iffy on shipping right now. Bailey absolutely sold me on Rise, but without her, I'm at a loss. Maybe I'll root for Yukiko again (was a fanboy until Bailey came along)... or root for the loli just for the lulz.

In any case, glad they decided to animate this Persona. In all honesty, it was the one I thought that best suited to being an anime, being more or less a murder mystery and all.

I liked Kugimiya as Alphonse in FMA, but otherwise I absolutely HATE her voice. It's so annoying and I want to smash my head everytime I hear her.

I, too, hope that it comes out in the USA/Europe, with the beautiful Voice Cast it had in the game. I really, really, REALLY love the Voice Actors in P4. Yuri Lowenthal and JYB as my favourites.
I guess I have to mute the sound whenever Rise is talking in the japanese dub

Well, I wished for P4P and I wasn't that happy to hear it gets an anime, but I'll wait and see, maybe it'll end up being pretty awesome.
But it should at least have 2-cour. Anything else would be too rushed D:

just cause she's voiced by the Tsundere Queen doesn't mean the character's supposed to be tsundere lol
Rie played a handful of non tsundere roles like Alphonse from FMA or Happy from Fairy Tail

Honestly, I'd prefer Laura Bailey over Rie Kugimiya, but I didn't see how she did in the game, so I'm hoping she brings a more normal voice. I can't stand her tsundere-loli voice for some reason.
