I like how they're sprinkling bits of Upotte Nano into the main show and after only two episodes, they have blasted through seven whole chapters despite that. Even though the anime just ten episodes long, it's almost certain they'll manage to fit the entirety of both mangas in it.

I'm actually really shocked how good a job Xebec are doing with this adaptation. My expectations were super low, but the only marks against them I have so far are some of the altered designs, and that the first episode was kind of slow...

You know vol 3 covers what chapters? I don't think 4 is out yet nor is the thing finished so how will they fit everything in?

OK, I watched the first couple of episodes and I am trying to gather my jaw from the floor... what the hell is going on in this anime is beyond me... it's like some drug induced hallucination of a military otaku who is into fat schoolgirls

Despite the fact that the female characters in this show aren't fat, the character design (Akio Takami) made them (most if not all) fat because of their fat thighs.

the "fat thighs" were a plus for me, as were the ridiculously short skirts, I thought I was in for some delicious echi, but the first episode showed me that wasn't gonna happen. Now all that's left is a really weird gun otaku anime. Some sweet panty/thong shots would of catapulted this anime into one of the top of the season! A missed opportunity if there ever was one. I am very dissapointed.

I wonder if it'll go all the way to the war games with the girls, including Galil and Sako?

Though I'm kinda sad that no boys with rifles are here, considering the main theme of the series.

The girls aren't fat they are just short with wide thighs... Look at Ladies Vs Butler;s with similar design, and add that... what do you call that fox girl anime again?

In the interest of not spoiling things for further episodes, I'm not sure if a LMG will have a human form. Aside from the battle/assault rifles and SMGs, I have read up that a shotgun appearing.

There is a sniper rifle, but it's only in the background.
