I guess that pretty much confirms it's a Generation 2 suit right? Since the last bit of episodes in Generation 1 are set in space. Weird how the box art of the Dorado place it in space though...

This scan says "Asem's Chapter" in the description according to Homeless, so I'd say this scan probably confirmed it.

The UE doesn't have a set rifle design, so you can't call it a non-UE design.

I think they're just saying it's not very "UE-ish". The Gen 2 UE designs in general do have a more normal conventional feel to them relative to the Gen I UE.

It's not "UE-ish" because the only rifles the UE have had are in their tails. I still see it as being UE themed weapons.

Which is why it feels like a break from the current theme, they never use non-tailed rifles. It's UE only because their UE but their definitely taking the more conventional route here. There's nothing wrong with that, but their definitely changing or innovating their design and weapon style to slightly more conventional design and usage routes; at least from what we usually used to seeing in Gen I. Even the Dorado looks less alien-ish than the Gafran and becoming more normal. At least relatively speaking that is, they still have their usual alien-ish traits that greatly contrast them with other factions.

At this point, the chances of all UE MS being piloted are greater than being remote controlled.

Not all, we have only seen two UE suits being piloted, Zedas and Defurse. Falscia was being controlled by Desil during last episode, except that final moment when Yurin did her classic Newtype girl block. Since it was shown that Falscia had complete cockpit controls, UE suits are flexible; they can be piloted or remote controlled.

Maybe only the boss units are piloted, the rest are UCVs. Why waste nasty pilots like Desil on grunt suits when they can be commanded from a couch?
