The purpose of this thread is to allow free discussion of theories and speculation of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans anime series, but be warned since it may contain unmarked spoilers. Having a central location may help focus the discussion instead of spreading speculation over the various episode discussion threads.

He seems quite safe to me unless Mika or Aina or Biscuit turns out to be an excellent commander, which seems rather unlikely at this stage. He's not remotely disposable at this point.

To expand to this, if Mika is the Gundam hero, then I think Orga will be the masked antagonist. I dunno, the way they are framing their friendship and Mika's dependency on Orga are very good pieces to put in place before putting them against each other, heightening the dramatic effect.

Of course, it's still very early as we only have 1 episode to go by, but if Okada is going for maximum melodrama, that is the way to go going by what we have so far.

Either death flag or a "mask" flag for him. I would say 45% each and about 10% chances that he gets a good ending.

Given how Gundams in this world seem to be painted as an ominous weapon that cuts the pilot as it destroy the enemy, if I would make a guess.... Orga's death flag or maybe Akihiro's might be set off when circumstances force either to go ham in a Gundam.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing as long as the story justified it and the writing, direction and pace are as solid as episode 1 (or even better).

That title isn't exactly a solid indicator that is the exact moment the leave Mars. Besides it can work out depending on how the story goes and how they pace things.

I dont mind seeing more ground combat, nor do the current mechs/weapons lend themselves well to space battles

Barbatos' booster is already being advertised so my guess is that this will go on faster than we think.

So yes, they're getting out of Mars.

HG 1/144 Barbatos mentioned that 4th form is completed using Tewaiz (sp unknown, but one of the new faction) technology and apparently said faction is from Jupiter. Maybe we will get a visit to Jupiter as well

I've been just watching this by myself, but after talking to a friend, who says Mikazuki will kiss Kudelia in episode 13 has been leaked. I went here and saw that script.



Was able to make out this, then googled using those exact words and found

EDIT: According to the date of the posts, this is old news? I guess people don't care much for the romance aspect of this I suppose.

A kiss at that point in the series just seems like a huge death flag. I would be more worried for the characters than anything else.
